Staff was often not around for us to get assistance when we needed and were annoyed when we asked for anything like us being there was an inconvenience to them. Rooms were physically falling apart, gross conditions like water damage. This location does not represent the Hyatt name well; we’ve stayed at nicer motels. Also, this hotel is next to a convention center so it was loud late into the evening with music, etc. Also, there were a lot of limitations I.e. they wouldn’t change our sheets unless explicitly requested, they wouldn’t give us extra towels without doing a trade so we had to run back upstairs to get used towels to trade and they said we had to use our bath towels at the pool, no extras due to shortage. Gross, I don’t want to bathe and swim with the same towel. I hope Hyatt can get some training on hospitality to staff and invest some money to upgrade to the Hyatt standard.
