Rather than the poor attempt at providing a desultory breakfast of toast and tea -- there are a dozen cafés within a short walk that provide a hot breakfast -- spend the money to hire actual cleaners, not somebody's layabout son who can't even hoover the extremely dirty carpets. You have the most important thing: convenient location. Keep the premises clean and you will have non-stop and reasonably satisfied customers. Despite the noise (>_<) wow, Guilford Street is noisy. I have low expectations for a convenient cheap hotel near KX but you managed to fall far below them.

Staff, very pleasant and helpful. Room very clean, great mattress. Bathroom clean, shower perhaps a bit low on water pressure, but decent and hot water. All in all, great value for money.

The single room No.611 was dirty. The bathroom was disgusting. I couldn't even bring myself to use the shower. I felt the need to wash my hands every time I touched anything. Breakfast was cereal, toast and instant coffee. I have taken photos as I can't believe Expedia would advertise this place !!!

Room was tiny. Bed uncomfortable. Back of tv thick with dust. Toilet/shower absolutely tiny, basically a converted cupboard. Had to ask for new towels. When asking for iron and ironing board told to fetch the board myself. Area is fine but for £100 a night you can get far, far better.

Relatively cheap stay is the only slight positive, as for the rest it’s about as awful as you can get. Don’t be fooled by breakfast included, basically help yourself to a few cereals and some bread in a cramped, dirty little room.

Il peggior Hotel che abbia mai visto nella mia vita da viaggiatore. Non ho trovato nulla di simile nemmeno il Africa. Sporchissimo e mal tenuto, bagno simile a quello dei treni e che probabilmente non veniva pulito da tempo. Colazione vomitevole da non provarci. Questo hotel andrebbe chiuso, consiglio ardentemente di non utilizzarlo

For dårlig!
Knøttlite bad hvor dusjen var der håndvasken også var, samt at det lakk fra toalettet ut på teppegulvet. Ingen rengjøring av kaffekopper eller påfyll av kaffe/toalettruller. Frokosten var semmer, vann til pulverkaffen var ikke kokt opp da vi skulle spise og det var kaldt i rommet.

Hôtel très bon marché, cependant la propreté de la chambre ainsi que de la salle de bain laisse à désirer … il y avait également une fuite sous la moquette au pied de mon lit .. Odeur de cigarette dans la chambre .. ce n’est pas acceptable. Les murs sont fins, les voisins de chambres sont très bruyants, certains irrespectueux (essaient de rentrer dans la mauvaise chambre à 2h du matin). Les nuits ne sont pas de tout repos. Dommage pour un hôtel avec un personnel gentil et une bonne localisation dans la ville de Londres. Déçue, ce fut mon pire séjour en hôtel et par conséquent je n’y retournerai pas.

Avoid like the plaque unless you want it
This is the most dirtiest run down hotel I have ever stayed in - avoid like the plaque - I have to say I’m disappointed that Hotels.com list this dump . It wasn’t worth £20 let alone the £93 for a grotty room that was disgusting

L'avantage principal de cet hôtel est qu'il est bien situé. Certes, la literie est correcte, mais la chambre est très basique, la moquette pas très propre, et le petit déjeuner on ne peut plus simple, comme à la maison, le sachet de pain de mis, le grille-pain, le pot de Nutella.

Good cheap room with small bathroom and breakfast included. Would stay again. Is basic & cheap and short walk to Russell Square Station. Shower not very warm & shower head cracked but is cheap single room accommodation in London so get what you pay for.

Nasty place
The room I had in this place was pretty nasty. I don't normally reply or post reviews, but this place leaves me wondering if I stated there any longer I might get a disease or more. The room I had, the bed was multi colored and stained with who knows what. The bed was positioned against a hard wall and the sheets were easily moved off the bed exposing the dirtyness underneath the sheets. The bathroom is incredibly small and uncomfortable to sit in and take showers in. The TV, which was a computer monitor and not a TV, barely worked and the phone in the room did not work and had no signal to the concierge's office, if there was that office. Spend an extra $10 to stay somewhere else or better yet stay at a hostel for much cheaper somewhere else and stay disease-free.

My wife was in tears
Not at all what I hoped for for an anniversary weekend in London. No comparison with the description or write-up. It was actually the hotel next door to the Grenville. A hostel for the price of a reasonable hotel. We didn't stay and moved to a much better hotel for not much more money. Asked for a partial refund but no response. Got a voucher from hotels.com

The hotel could use a lot of upgrading but for the price it works. The TV connection was horrendous but the rest of the room was quaint. My only major issue was that it was very cold and damp in the room and there was no way to control the temperature and bedding was limited. Otherwise, the staff was pleasant and the location was very good.
