Loved their hotel service
Good place to stay to take pictures of aurora. Very quiet place away from town but worth visiting. Free morning buffet was good. Enjoyed staying at the hotel.

O Hotel tem o interior bem aconchegante! O Restaurante serve refeições noturnas o que é ótimo pois não há nada muito perto. O quarto era aconchegante! Bom local para caçar a aurora boreal!

Agréable étape entre le cercle d'or et le sud.
En hiver, on ne peut pas dire qu'il y ait beaucoup de monde. Nous étions seul dans la partie hôtel. Cet endroit est composé, en plus des chambres d'hôtel, d'un camping, espace pour les campings cars, cottages. L'été doit être assez mouvementé ! Bon petit déjeuner dans un endroit restauration bien aménagé et très spacieux. Arrivée facilité avec communication de codes d'accès directement à faire sur le clavier de la porte d'entrée.

Headline: fine for a night, not more. Its a quaint horse farm by the volcanic ridge, but the term "hótel" is misleading - its a nice hostel, not a hotel. The bathrooms are laeger than the rooms in the guest houses, I cant speak to the cottages. Note, there is no cold storage on site. The beds were very, very small (and I am 5' 3"). The room was nice but mildewy and a bit cold. The staff kept is pretty clean otherwise. I had to bother the front desk several times about how to check in, but they were accommodating, although their duties were split between on-site restaurant and hostle, so it was hard to find people. Basically it was fine for 1 night, more than that and your back would hurt. The scenery by thr farm was beautiful. I was here in high summer, in winter i imagine this place would be very uncomfortable.

For the price l paid, I expected better, in the sense that, the mattress was uncomfortable, the thermo in the room didn't work, the kettle either. At 6am the fire alarm woke us all up for nothing. Breakfast was of low quality and the desserts non-existent apart from a chocolate cake. I took a beer 33cl in the can price 1250isk- 8,65€

Nice getaway from city living.
Thank you for the excellent breakfasr variety, Nice country setting and new room atmosphere. Quiet area away from the highway. Close to the Westman Islands ferry terminal.

Stayed here in December when no one was here. Rooms were clean and bathroom were very nice. At a price I paid I would be coming back here again.

Clean and comfortable hotel room. Breakfast was great! Recommend Hygge for dinner. Delicious meals! Everything was cozy.

Hótelið er mjög notalegt og veitingar fyrsta flokks. Eina sem ég var óánægð með var sturtan að fá bara vatn í ca 20 sek í einu. Það væri fínt að hafa það í mínútu.

Quiet country hotel
Nice hotel with very clean rooms and a great breakfast (omelets included). The site was very quiet. Not a huge problem, but an FYI that the name on the registration building is different than the hotel, so we circled the parking area once. Plenty of space to park and easy to find off a clearly marked road. The bathroom was large and very clean and the "black out" curtains made the room dark enough to sleep comfortably.

Die Gastfreundlichkeit war toll und auch die Unterkunft war sauber und gut ausgestattet (außer einem Fön). Das Frühstück bot viel Auswahl und wir wurden sogar zum Abendessen bekocht. Tolle Gastgeberin und wunderschön gelegenes Guesthouse. Klare Weiterempfehlung.

Souless place
I choose the option of paying at the hotel because I wanted to pay in Euros (they charge in this currency). A few days before the stay, I got charged in my USD card. I called and the person I spoke to said the rule is to charge 7 days in advance and that's done everywhere in Iceland. That's not true. The rest of hotels I chose to pay at the hotel charged me when I did the check in. "Thanks" to that charge, I had to pay extra because of the conversion rate. The day we got at the hotel, the parking lot was completely covered in snow and we had to park further away. The hotel was almost empty and reception and the restaurant were closed so not even the option of having dinner there. Our room was correct and clean but the decor was quite dated. It seemed that they didn't care much about the guests' happiness because they only had a few rooms booked. Will never come back.

La localisation est agréable au calme, le petit déjeuner était vraiment bien excepté le jus d'orange chimique ( type oasis) , la chambre d'une belle taille et la superbe salle de bains.

Great place to stay if you want to be in the country side and explore things close by. Staff was great. The person (forgot his name) in the reception/kitchen in the evenings is really helpful and cooks great too. Man with many talent.
