"Perfect location. Times Square, broadway, 5th Ave and Central Park were all within walking distance. There is a subway access right outside of the hotel. Clean, quiet and kind/helpful staff. "

"the property is outdated, there are no modern (usb, etc) connections. the TV system is also old, the furniture is old. but for the price its a good deal. the AC works well, the staff is not bothersome, the place is quiet except for the occasional ghetto clients that want to spend all day with their kids in front of property. there are 2 ice machines but only one works. the property is on a hill, hence the name. so walking to the local stores is a hike. as far as ECO, i dont know hot that applies to this property. overall , I have been to the place several times and for the price , with the location it is a bargain. "I'm a New Yorker and I have always noticed the sign above the hotel.....the sign is intriguing and typical Manhattan. Right across from Lincoln Center, thus I had a direct view of a special evening for the summer festivals. The hotel has some of their old character yet it is up to date."
