"When making a reservation in a European city we’d never visited, we weren’t sure what we’d find when we arrived at Hotel Acta Moa. We were delightfully surprised and impressed with this gorgeous, modernized property! We arrived at 9am off our cruise ship and fully expected to store our luggage until check in time. Instead, the gracious front desk attendant gave us a room right away! She also gave us maps of the city, sightseeing advice, and directions to the Metro. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with this hotel!"

"It is so easy to walk ( 5-10minutes ) from the Terminal …..& the dinner and buffet breakfast ( from ? 4am ) were very good . But have to say all of the staff ,( check-in desk, housekeeping and especially the restaurant staff !) were really friendly and pleasant , thanks !"

"Overall I enjoyed my stay but I would probably choose a different hotel for my next visit. The pros: the hotel is reasonably priced and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room I had was large for a European hotel with high ceilings and windows that open. Cons: The hotel is in need of a refresh, especially in the common areas. Carpets are worn and dusty. The breakfast is expensive given the 'just OK' quality of the food. If you're in Lisbon to visit the old city and surrounding areas, be aware that it's a good 30-35 minute walk from the hotel. Note: I was unhappy with the first room I was given and they were able to move me to a better room which I was very happy with. I would recommend asking for a high floor as rooms on the 1st floor (first above the lobby) are small and look out on the HVAC units. My room on the 3rd floor had a large bathroom and a comfortable bed. I also appreciated that it had adequate lighting for reading in the evening."

"We were told that eggs and bacon were not included, but their continental breakfast was better and more than I should have eaten. Clean and comfortable room, but quite small and not room to open our suitcases easily."
