"Typical English hotel room – very small. Close to amenities, restaurants, transport, parks, etc. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Only negative was the noisy hotel guests - slamming doors all hours of the day and night and talking loudly in corridors."

"Great hotel! Room and hotel clean, helpful staff, really good breakfast. I think the volume of the music in the hall is too high but you can’t hear it in the room so it’s ok. Position really good, next to Marble Arch underground."

"I loved the location very near the Paddington station, easy to find from the station. The hotel provided excellent directions. The park nearby was a nice added touch though I didn't spend any time in it. The breakfast buffet was quite nice. The scrambled eggs were delicious, not sure what they did but didn't taste like the usual breakfast buffet eggs. The room was what I expected small but nice with the added kettle, tea and coffee. The water was hot no waiting time for it even being on the 3rd floor! The front staff aren't overly chatty but will provide recommendations when approached, no hi hello or have a nice day. I felt they were hidden away behind the desk. I was satisfied with hotel though sound does carry with guests coming and going in the hall and doors closing."

"Firstly the photos of this hotel both outside and the rooms do not reflect what the property is in reality. I was a little disappointed to be honest. Small room curtains hanging off in areas shower very small. Breakfast was chaos and very disorganised and staff run off their feet. Unfortunately I didn't really enjoy my stay here. The only positive feature was that it's location was very good,"

"Hotel is dated, but the room was clean and functional. Would have been nice if there was a kettle in the room. Breakfast is super basic, so don’t expect too much. However, super convenient to get to and from Paddington station."

"Positives first: Absolutely great location, right next to Hyde Park a block from both Underground and bus line. The staff is wonderful, courteous and helpful. Having a kitchenette is a definite plus along with the daily water bottle, tea and biscuits. Areas to improve: Typical of UK hotels, the room was hot and stuffy. American's like face clothes in the bath, not just a hand and bath towel. Negatives: The 'lighted' makeup mirror in the bathroom did not light. The bathroom was extremely small (narrow). There is no food available on site. Not tragic as there are several good restaurants within a block walk. Overall, I would probably stay here again because of the great staff and wonderful location."
