“All was very clean , staff friendly, liked the use of a kitchen for tea and breakfast, very tasty evening meal.”

“Great place to stay if you’re off to the races, 15mins by car or Taxi. The pub does not provide a breakfast but their evening meals are good, and the staff are friendly. The rooms are at the back of the pub and have ensuite bathrooms, tea, coffee and water bottles in the mini fridge. The linen and towels were all fresh and the bed very comfortable. ”

“Super cute establishment! Room was super clean, room service came every day and replenished everything. 2 complimentary bottles of water provided every day. Staff literally bent over backwards to accommodate every step of the way. The restaurant was absolutely fire!!”

“It did what it said on the tin! Clean, welcoming, very comfy bed, bottle of water, proper milk and perfect location for us. Glad I took earplugs as a tad noisy outside (t’was the WE though). Ate dinner there too, which suited us to a T. ”

“Not great for the money, spend another 20 quid and get a better room somewhere else. 1 towel No shampoo or soap and no heat as it was shut off. Breakfast was a few biscuits, a wrapped croissant and a couple of boxes of cereal, meh at best. ”

“The Bushel is a friendly well run pub right in the heart of Bury St. Edmunds. It has the advantage of Car Parking for guests. Breakfast and Dinner were both good value and tasty. The staff are helpful and efficient. We stayed in one of the courtyard rooms. This had all we needed including a good size bed, shower, tea and coffee, Tv etc. We would certainly stay here again when we are next in the area.”
