“Lovely hotel”

“We had an overnight stay after attending a concert at Ely Cathedral. All I can say is it was a perfect stay in a small but high spec en-suite room with an extremely comfortable double bed, 2 comfortable armchairs and an excellent shower. Everything was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was good, served in a lovely breakfast room. Can’t imagine that anything could be improved!”

“Room was clean and comfortable, food was lovely, the staff were brilliant and helpful. The only problem was the remote control for the tv didn't work and staff didn't seem to know how to fix it. While it's certainly not the most important thing we all know 99% of hotels have got TV's in them, it's standard these days so the staff should be trained in how to work or set up the remotes and there should always be spares. There should be a set of instructions near the reception or even in the rooms...

“Great staff, very helpful. We were in room 1 which is a clean modern room. You do hear a little traffic noise but not enough that it's an issue. Just watch you don't rest a bare knee on the heated towel rail when you're sat on the toilet!”

“A warm welcome after a long drive from Jane/Owner. Accommodation was clean and comfortable, the shower was instantly warm! The owners were lovely, very friendly, attentive and accommodating. My daughter and I were going out very early one morning and thought we would miss breakfast so Sean/owner made us bacon sandwiches and put cartons of juice in the fridge to take with us! The breakfasts were tasty too, full english and poached eggs on toast. We were greeted each morning by the owners two...
