Not as many shops and restaurants as St Simons but the beach was beautiful and wasn’t crowded...a great alone place...

Could not go into the water. Beaches covered with black substance: thick goey globs and scattered on every beach. Water was like mud. I have been to JI many times and never seen this!

did a dolphin tour. saw abundance of dolphin. tour guides were very informative. walked around island. very interesting.
