“Great location and great view from the upper porch. If you’re taking the ferry to Cumberland Island, you’ll be right across the street. There is no dedicated parking. “The property was clean, but a bit worn. No cups (plastic or paper) were available. The bed was really high and difficult to get into -- very odd. I thought the hot water was broken at first because it took so long to show up. Once it finally arrived it was good. Bar soap and little packets of shampoo, not like most places these days. “We stopped here for an overnight stay before a cruise from JaxPort. It was easy to get to, clean, and easily accessible to the port the next morning. Breakfast options weren’t as good as we’d expected, but still enough for a breakfast before the cruise. The room was bigger than expected and the walk-in shower was nice! We would stay here again for the convenience factor, for sure!”
