"The Gordon Hotel was a very nice experience. Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff, and nice amenities. The room was clean and comfortable. If I had to recommend one thing to improve, the cocktails weren’t my favorite, but still serviceable."
"The staff was great during check in, breakfast, and check out. The breakfast was among the best at any bed & breakfast type of establishment (essentially how I'd classify this inn). The main house was built in 1892, and although upgrades have been made, there are some remnants of the original construction, so guests need to be aware of that and understand not to expect modern construction. The inn is located in a somewhat rundown and old residential area of Eugene, but this property is the best maintained lot in the neighborhood, and is located on the periphery of that neighborhood, adjacent to the commercial district. However, we'd highly recommend this inn if your travels take you to Eugene. For lunch and dinner, several restaurants are within walking distance (walking is recommended if you're able to walk 10-15 minutes each way). We would not hesitate to stay here again. Much more of an experience than the big chain hotels."
"The breakfast was great. The front desk staff were kind and attentive. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you need a place to stay close to University of Oregon."
Home2 Suites by Hilton Eugene Downtown University Area
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel was new, clean and comfortable. I'd never been to Eugene before and found the neighborhood to be a bit sketchy. Lots of homeless and grunge; like a Portland South."
