OMG. a oneway two lane extremely long road to get to the terminal. Yikes. Our driver was trying to explain why it was taking so long to drop us off.
Very easy to get in and out for our cruise!!!
DO NOT use the taxi service from the Julia Street Cruise Terminal/Port of New Orleans, and if you do be sure to get the price stipulated up front. We were refused the option to use Uber or Lyft by a uniformed officer, who said we had to walk to the Convention Center to use one of those services. Since we had luggage and a person who was having difficulty walking that wasn't an option. The taxi that carried us charged me $40 to go to the French Quarter - less than 10 minutes away. The Uber fare would have been $8. I'll NEVER, EVER use a New Orleans taxi again.
