The people around the area are a sketchy. The hotel itself was very quiet and I liked the breakfast waffle maker.

Over all it was ok just the rooms were small and the TV was old, the ac didn't work appropriately and the door to the closet was so difficult to open. But it was so convenient for getting to Kalamazoo College that's the only thing I love about it.

Run down, OK for a quick stop over in Kzoo.

Welcoming staff. But the hotel is very run down. Broken and loose tiles in bathroom, chipped toilet seat. Stained bed covers. The stairs and hallways carpet floor, stained and eroded. Breakfast was reasonably good. For a quick stay it made its role.

I was in town for a conference. The property is old but clean, breakfast was fine every morning (always eggs and a choice of meat), the staff was helpful. I would stay there again.
