"The staff was fine. Some people seemed very happy to help, most only communicated via nods. The best staff was at the cafe, they were always friendly. We wish the pool was open a bit later, the bar is staffed but the area near the pool was empty most nights. The evenings on the resort were surprisingly quiet, there’s almost no nightlife. The AC in our room was stuck at 20C, we asked many times to have it unlocked or at least turn it to 22C, but didn’t get it. The restaurants were meh. Skip Maya, Sofra was great, the seafood tavern was pretty good too! Honestly the buffet was pretty good, the food was consistently tasty and we ended up opting to just eat at the buffet for dinner most nights. Overall we enjoyed the stay, the room was very nice, just needed a good dusting up high (I’m 6’3” and could see a thick layer of dust on the tops of most furniture). The swim up pool was awesome to relax in and sit by during the evenings."

"First day was a big disappointment. We came in at 11:00 because of an early flight, asked for an early check in, they told us the people from that room would leave at 12:00 and after that it would be cleaned immediately. The check in time is 15:00 and by 15:35 the room was ready. We asked for a compensation, because of the longer waiting time, but we never got it. If it was the other way as in a later check out, they would let us pay for it, but they’re even talking about our compensation because of the fact that we couldn’t go in our room on time. That’s a no go!"

"The rooms were very clean, and the guest house offers private bathrooms for every room. Just a heads-up: you’ll need to bring your own soap as it wasn't provided. Also, keep in mind that staff will enter your room to turn off the AC if you leave it on while you’re out. If you’re taller or like extra space, definitely book the King bed instead of the double. We stayed here for a specific event and the location was ideal."

"The location is perfect. Their service was slow for cleaning tables and serving drinks at some of the bars. I made a complaint and I saw an improvement the next day. Desserts were excellent. The main restaurant had a variety of food but the chicken options were a little bland."
