โThis is a quaint little place, convenient for a quick no frills overnight stay.
The car park had travelling contractors vans in it in the early evening and all gone before breakfast that starts at 8am.
Breakfast is prepared to order, cereal and full English that was very nice.โ
โLittle fly fishing break for hubby.
Lovely room with all the facilities, except a telly; this was a bonus though.
Dinner and breakfast were both excellent.
Will definitely be back for more fishing!โ
โStunning grounds and setting, excellent food and presentation, simply the best service from staff who went above and beyond. Only downside was I couldn't pay by Amex, the first hotel I've stayed in that doesn't accept it.โ
โAs soon as I arrived I was greeted by Brad who offered to carry my bags and explained a lot of information about the local area, and said if I needed anything to just let him know. The building is easily accessible from the car park with the use of a key card which allows you to come and go at all hours. The room was amazing, clean, very modern and the bed was probably the most comfortable Iโve ever stayed in. The room has everything you need such as smart tv, fridge and coffee machine. I...
โA pleasant stay , however we donโt really enjoy gastro type food so the meals werenโt for us , others really enjoyed the meals so just a matter of taste โ
โThe whole trip was amazing, beautiful hotel in an absolutely stunning setting steeped in history. Clean stylish rooms.
Never slept in such a comfortable bed and the breakfast in the morning was delicious.
Every member of staff was attentive and fantastic. Highly recommend this manor hotel โ
โWe had a lovely stay here for two nights breakfast was cereals, fruit, and a full English breakfast perfectly cooked. Plenty of free off-road parking. โ
โWe found this wonderful farmhouse Guesthouse by chance, on the internet and so glad that we did. We stayed there for a few days/nights and NOTHING was too much trouble for the hosts, Sandra and Arthur. Indeed, these lovely people being 'natives' to Dartmoor, have a vast knowledge of how anything and everything happens on the moors. Their knowledge is also invaluable when you want to visit beautiful spots and places of interest within the countryside.
We would have NO HESITATION in staying in...
โAbsolutely one of the most comfortable places I have stayed, loved it will definitely stay again, great little pub down the road for evening food,
Breakfast was just perfect. โ
โQuick one night at St Mellion, nice room and lovely staff at the reception/restaurant and in the shop. We ate at the brasserie which was great quality food. Comfy beds and a great view of the golf course. We will return โ
โIt was a quirky building with history seeping out of the walls.
Staff couldnโt do enough for you but weโre not intrusive and food excellent. โ
โWe absolutely loved our stay at the cottage next to The Weary Friar!! The pub staff were amazing, so friendly! And the food was delicious! Definitely a place to return to!!!! โ
โWe had a lovely night at the Inn, perfect for what we needed after 3 days at a music festival! Quiet, beautiful, walking from outside straight into the countryside, a lovely big room and the breakfast hamper was really fab, it all felt very luxurious. โ
