โAs a first time user, pleasantly surprised with the quality and convenience of this Easy hotel. Will definitely use again when next visiting Ipswich. We chose a room with a window (frosted glass), so can't comment on how it would feel if windowless. Room compact and fine for a short stay (we stayed 2 nights). Good temperature control. Lots of breakfast options nearby, so the fact that this is not provided is not problematic. โ
โI was working in the area and needed somewhere with a gym and pool. Found this gem and I wasn't disappointed.
The gym was great for a hotel and the pool area was amazing.
Everything here that was needed, the staff were friendly and accommodating.
The restaurant and food were superb and again the staff were great.
Couldn't fault this place for a first visit.
I will return.โ
โI had forgotten to book the hotel I planned to stay in, and so had to quickly find a replacement on the day as where I was planning to stay wasn't available.
What a result, this was half the price, incredible value, a decent breakfast for the price, and it was honestly faultless. The room was amazingly comfortable and spotlessly clean and I will definitely stay again. For a one night stay on business it was very good indeed. โ
โWe had a lovely stay at the Marquis, our suite was lovely and had a private west facing balcony so we watched a lovely sunset over the river.
Dinner was excellent, as was the wine, highly recommended.
Staff were all really friendly and helpful.โ

โComfortable room with excellent tea making supplies - and a good sized mug each! The floor fan was useful as it was very warm. The hotel kindly allowed a later check out with a prompt and polite response to our request. Check in was efficient and simple. The evening meal was superb - great value and the pavlova! Wow! Chefโs kiss! All in all - a beautiful historic building and a really enjoyable stay. We will return I am sure. โ
โOur second time here and you can not fault this place . The rooms, the staff, the location are just perfect and the dogs are made to feel like VIPโs. The hot tub is lovely and the restaurant has such a nice ambiance about it ( and yes dogs are welcome in there too!)โ
