"This is the finest hotel we have stayed at while in Thailand. This is low season so it was not crowded. Stayed an extra 2 nights for reduced price because occupancy was low. Weather was not always cooperative but some nice sunshine each day. It rained after being at the beach a couple of hours. The free hotel shuttle came early and waited for us. It seemed mgr at the front desk knew each guest personally. Also free shuttle to other locations in town"
VERSO Hua Hin - a Veranda Collection

"We stayed in a family room with bunk beds, which was ideal for our 12 and 6 year old. This was cloaked off with a curtain, as was the dressing area, and the room felt we could have privacy when needed. The main bed was huge (all 4 could have fitted if needed) and was very comfortable. Lots of breakfast options - traditional Thai and continental - and staff were helpful. The hotel itself and pool were aesthetically pleasing however I felt the pool was a little style over substance. All the beds (bar about 4) were inside the water, so this creates a problem if you want have your bag nearby. Also, all the amenities felt a little far away, despite the small site. There was an engagement event here the first day of our stay and we felt in the way, both by the location of where the event was being held next to the pool, and by the staff who were clearly trying to create a fabulous time for their event guests whilst neglecting everyone else. There is a small children's pool with slide, which is very, very shallow (not for swimming). The other 3 pools were too deep for our 6 year old. The hotel was located on a lovely part of the beach overlooked by the big Buddha, and we took a nice stroll to Monkey mountain in about 20 minutes. There were some great restaurants with a 10 minute walk. Overall we enjoyed our stay here but as a family we would not return. It is perhaps better suited for couples or those booking the private pool suites."

"We had a lot of ants in the room and the shower was intermittent. Breakfasts were good but never served hot and they tended to run out of coffee. Staff very good and some nice touches."

"We come here twice a year for birthdays a we just love it. The staff are brilliant and the food is excellent. We never use the beach facilities but as we never spend that long here. We either go cycling or have a late breakfast and then home ..35 minutes south of here 😄"
Seapine Beach Golf and Resort Hua Hin

"1st impression at reception was that the young reception woman was dismissive / rude. I was separated from the rest of my family and sent to register elsewhere. My Thai g.f and our kids were sent by other means to the accommodation. Later, other reception staff were more helpful and respectful. Someone I assumed was the general manager denied me access to the bungalow I had reserved citing the photos in the advertising was not those of the actual accommodation. As a result, I was offered 2 rooms with a connecting door back in the main hotel area of the resort, and free breakfasts all week. Having read reports of the bungalow accommodation on this site, there is clearly an issue with those accommodations to which I was not allowed (in my opinion) to know about. Perhaps the original properties are being renovated or rebuilt during this period. The swimming pool is a lovely attraction and my young boys were using the pool most days for hours at a time. I felt happy that it was a safe pool for children and had no concerns. The breakfasts were of a good quality and a good range of options. The chef was friendly, courteous and helpful. He made himself available to talk to the customers and asked opinions and offered individual options of cooking. Staff in the restaurant were equally helpful. There is a beach bar in the evening which is surprisingly peaceful. There are rats which run up off the beach, be prepared. The staff could be helpful one night and dismissive the next."

"Room is fairly clean and the bed is big and comfy. Pool is nice size for our room. gym is too small and muggy. Design of the walk way to the beach is well done with nice pool and bar at the end. Food in the restaurant is a bit overpriced for what it is."

"Clean room, comfortable bed. Near the pool, which was very nice. It's an older group of buildings, but well maintained. Several good restaurants within easy walking distance. A bit further from the beach than we expected, but a manageable walk. Several good coffee locations and a 7-11 nearby. A good hotel for the price."

"amazing place friendly staff, the bathtub is not jetted but a clawfoot tub ( i actually like that better) the decor is amazing and even if some decoration were broken needed fixing ...this is a wonderful place to stay. only issue at check in there was no one there waited over 30 minutes then called the contact number and the owner sent the cleaning lady to do the check in...same thing for checkout other than that the room by the pool is the best one and short walk to the beach probably the best hotel of all the ones i visited in thailand...take thai food breakfast much better tasting and healtier than english breakfast. Would go again for sure"
