"This hotel makes a Travelodge look like The Dorchester.
While the ladies at reception and the cleaner were absolutely lovely and did their best to help, this is unfortunately the worst hotel I have stayed in within the UK.
The first room I was allocated had an overwhelming sewage smell. The odour was so strong that I walked straight back out and returned to reception. To their credit, the receptionist apologised and promptly moved me to what she described as one of the newly refurbished rooms.
Although the second room was clean, it was incredibly small, the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Anyone who suffers from claustrophobia would likely find it very uncomfortable. The bathroom was equally cramped, with barely enough space to turn around. The shower and sink were also exceptionally small.
To make matters worse, there was a vent in the room on the exterior wall, which meant dealing with dragonflies and other insects throughout my stay.
Overall, this was not a pleasant experience, and I would not choose to stay here again."
"Great welcome and easy guide through the services available during the stay.
Apartment equipped with all you would need for a short visit. Sofa bed was very comfortable and easy to bring out and put away. Probably one of the calmest places I've stayed in. Great location for easy access to the city. Would definitely recommend and stay again."
