Betmanowska Main Square Residence Adults Only

"We had a fantastic trip to Krakow and the accommodation at Betmanowska was excellent! The organised transfer was perfect, really pleasant and knowledgable driver who told us about good places to go, see, eat etc The room was clean and comfortable, plenty of space with the usual safe etc…soft drinks minibar was complimentary which was a really nice touch!was bed was soft but we they do offer a service to make it harder, but we chose not to utilise this. Shower was great! A bottle prosecco was waiting for us as a welcome gift which was a nice touch as was a bottle of wine later in the stay to thank us for choosing them. Breakfast was great, continental style buffet was good with hot food made to order…can’t complain! Location was perfect, right next to the main square, yet the room did not suffer from external noise. The only downside was the building is old so was quite creaky, you felt the movement from other residents nearby and the building made a lot of noise as you moved about, but this wouldn’t stop us returning, just letting people know! The lift is very small and didn’t give us a lot of confidence it would make every journey! so if you’re not a fan, be prepared to use the stairs! Overall a fantastic stay, we would absolutely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again should we come back to Krakow!"

"The Aparthotel is situated in the perfect location, everything is in the walking distance. It’s close to the river as well. It was clean and comfortable. The sofa bed didn’t have the thickest mattress, so you may want to ask if they could provide something to make it more comfortable. The bed was super comfortable though! The rooms were clean and very nice! Would definitely recommend."

"This hotel is not a 5 star hotel. The 5 star rating was misleading. It is a 3 & 1/2 star hotel. The Radisson Blu is suppose to be an upgraded hotel. We did not feel it was. We were in a suite. The size of the room was indeed spacious. However, the furniture was dated. The TV was in an awkward space in the primary bedroom. Yes, this location was ideal and across the street from a lovely park. The breakfast buffet was above average. The staff tried their best to compensate for the hotel’s deficiencies. Our expectations were not met with this hotel."

"Hotel Lavender is a boutique hotel. I had a small but charming room facing the street that had everything you need (including bathrobes). The room had AC, the WiFi worked fine, and the space was extremely clean. Even though the hotel is in walking distance to the old town, you may take the tram (2 minutes from the hotel) if you plan to visit Wawel castle, which I highly recommend. The buffet breakfast was very good, and I liked that a small outdoor space where one could enjoy the fresh air was available. Konrad, one of the managers, was extremely friendly and helpful as it was Mateusz, who usually covers the night shift. Konrad arranged for transportation to the airport and I was impressed with the punctuality of the driver at 3 am in the morning. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience, and I would highly recommend the Lavender Hotel."
