"Great location in old Quebec. Very quaint hotel, nice rooms and clean. The lounge next to front desk serves some great cocktails; the best we’d had on our trip. Louise restaurant on site was very good, both food quality and service. We would stay there again. "

"I had a generally good stay at Hôtel des Coutellier, and the highlight of this hotel is definitely the front desk staff. They were incredibly helpful, welcoming, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which I truly appreciated. The room was clean, and one of my favorite details was the bathroom amenities,they provide products from L’Occitane, which I personally love. The location is also very convenient, especially being close to the VIA Rail station, which was the main reason I chose this hotel. However, walking to Old Town can be a bit challenging as it involves going uphill. If you’re physically fit, it should be fine, but for elderly travelers, it might be better to consider alternative transportation. The only downside of my stay was related to renovation noise. I understand it may have been low season, and I did hear some drilling and hammering after check-in, which didn’t bother me much since I wasn’t in the room. However, the next morning was quite disappointing.I was woken up by loud construction noise before 7 AM. Upon checking out, I realized the renovation was happening right next to my room, which made the experience quite unpleasant."
