La zona es preciosa, llena de naturaleza y rodeada de pueblos pintorescos y pequeños. Ideal para bajar el ritmo agobiante de las grandes ciudades.”

The room was a little cold, the bed a little hard - an extra blanket would have been nice as well as soap for the shower - but I could have asked for these things and I am sure my requests would have been happily tended to. “Un excellent moment passé au sein de cette magnifique chambre d'hôte. Nathalie et son mari sont au petit soin, à la recherche du détail qui compte. La maison est grande et spacieuse, la chambre magnifique avec un lit très confortable. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la quiétude du lieu... Le soir nous avons eu le plaisir de nous joindre à la table d'hôte concoctée maison avec une grande majorité de produits bio... Vraiment je ne peux que conseiller le Grenier Occitan pour une pause serène...

“What a beautiful place to stay! A working farm, where they grow apples and produce the best apple juice we have ever tasted. The host was welcoming, a great cook, and full of information about the local region. Why stay in a city hotel when you can experience an authentic French farm, almost like going back 100 years in time to a charming and beautiful world of green, rolling hills. Highly recommended!”

“Un véritable coup de cœur. Ce lieu est une recommandation absolue, pour absolument tout : la situation, l’accueil chaleureux, le confort et le délicieux petit-déjeuner. Nous avons réservé à la toute dernière minute et avons pourtant vécu un week-end merveilleux à Saint‑Jean‑de‑Paracol, tout près de Rouvenac. Un endroit d’exception, où l’on se sent immédiatement bien. Un vrai haut niveau, à tous points de vue.”

“It was a very calm and beautiful hotel, but its hygiene was awful. During my stay, there were hundreds and thousands of small red spiders in the room. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. ”

“카르카손 요새까지 접근성이 좋은 호텔이었고, 유료이긴 했지만 비교적 저렴한 가격에 제공된 아침식사도 맛있었습니다. 또한 카르카손 요새를 조망할 수 있는 작은 테라스가 있다는 점도 맘에 드는 요소였습니다. 다만, 옛날 건물이라 엘리베이터가 없어 짐을 옮길 때 다소 불편함은 있었습니다. I'm very satisfied with my stay at Hôtel Du Pont Vieux. The staff were all kind and everything is almost perfect. The only disadvantage is about a lift but this is already mentioned by the hotel owner, so I was okay with it.”

“This hotel was rated highly and priced as though it was a high end property - it is not. It is an ancient chateau remodeled into a 1970s motel with amateur carpentry. Upon arrival the manager attempted to upsell us on-site breakfast and booking a dinner reservation through her website instead of showing us to our room. Our room was surprising, as it was not attractive or comfortable. There was a giant space heater to be plugged in because the proprietor turns off the heat at night - in December!...
