“The hotel is chasing, as in old charm. But beyond the charm, a reality come with it. It would need a lot of renovation, espacially with the bathroom. The shower in my room was a prefab shower module from the 80's. Completely run down, almost unusable, potentially dangerous as you could easily slide and fall in it. It may not be the case for all the rooms, but make sure to ask if the bathroom as been renovated! The staff was nice, and apolegatic about it. The owners need to do something about it....

“This hotel was rated highly and priced as though it was a high end property - it is not. It is an ancient chateau remodeled into a 1970s motel with amateur carpentry. Upon arrival the manager attempted to upsell us on-site breakfast and booking a dinner reservation through her website instead of showing us to our room. Our room was surprising, as it was not attractive or comfortable. There was a giant space heater to be plugged in because the proprietor turns off the heat at night - in December!...

“Fantastiskt mottagande. Vi kom sent utan att ha ätit middag. En fantastisk sallad med gott vin fixades fram. Trevligt samtal med ägarna. God frukost med närproducerade varor. Kan verkligen rekommendera detta boende. Men det var svårt att hitta rätt ingången i mörkret. ”
