Everything worked well except parking explanation. Seemed to be plenty of street parking nearby, the message was we were parking perilously ticket-wise.

The room was spotless and everything in place , the front desk was nice and polite, even the shuttle driver was nice and polite

We did eat at a restaurant named The Silo. It was very nice and the pizza was very good.
The area is industrial with a lot of traffic noise from commercial trucks. A foul smells from industrial factories.
It needs updated furniture and new carpeting.
Resturant Maverick was nice
Lake Bluff in itself is not an exceptional area but I thought the hotel was I came to visit the Great Lakes Naval Station to pick up my son
