Villa Rêverie - Boutique Hotel

"We stayed here for 3 nights and I have nothing but good things to say about Villa Rêverie. The staff warmly greeted us and were super friendly, kind, and helpful. They insisted we sit out on the balcony and enjoy a welcome drink of prosecco overlooking Lake Como while they checked us in and brought up our luggage to the room. They offer free transportation to their restaurant in Varenna, and the driver was really laid-back and full of good energy, as were all the staff. The hotel is about an 8-minute walk from Bellano train station and sits in a very calm, quiet part of the lake, which is great if you don't want the noise of other tourists. The breakfast was amazing and definitely worth grabbing before heading out for the day. The ONLY complaint I would have is that the AC isn't really the best, but we truly only felt this at night. Other than that, we will definitely be returning for future trips to Lake Como. They plan to open a restaurant downstairs from the hotel around spring 2027, but if you're looking for a dinner spot near the hotel, I highly recommend checking out "Truth"."

Breakfast was adequate and varied enough to please all types of travellers. The hotel's location is ideal as it is quiet while right in the town centre and is about 10 minutes away on foot from the train station. A good alternative to staying away from the hustle and bustle of Milan city center while being only about 30 minutes or so away by train."
