"We appreciated having a refrigerator in the room, a coffee maker would have been nice. Housekeeping was difficult to arrange and we had to track someone down for fresh towels. A door tag to request cleaning would be helpful. The pool area could have been cleaner and better maintained, and the lazy river floaties need updating. Also, the “lazy river” has no current. Only the bar pool was heated so the others were a bit chilly in late August. I’d recommend a balcony room and possibly a different location if traveling with kids. On the plus side, all of the employees were very friendly and helpful."

"Clean rooms. The coffee shop worker was very sweet and had a great personality. This hotel is in a great spot close to all the downtown activities. We enjoyed are stay."

"The only thing I was upset about they said the Blue Marlin would deliver to your room. But there was no way to order on line or even call an order in. Also they have no emergency supplies at the desk for such things as a bee sting."

"We did not know that this place was recently renovated and they did a fabulous job - it's beautiful. We weren't there long enough to enjoy the amenities but we were able to go to both dinner and breakfast. The service at dinner was excellent - however the food came out less than warm. We sent it back and when it was returned the meat entree was hot but the vegetables were not. Although tasty - its seems you should be able to plate a completely hot meal. The food at breakfast was very good (except the eggs; eggs at a hotel are always awful), but the dining room was poorly understaffed for a Sunday morning. I understand people call in sick or don't show up but these poor women were running their tails off. They did it all graciously but we felt bad for them. They could really use another hand or two at breakfast."
