A nice oldish hotel, very well located close to the boat stop, from which one can easily travel to Stresa and the islands. Pleasant and friendly staff, quiet surroundings with a possibility of a comfortable walk to Intra with its excellent restaurants. Varied and tasty breakfast. My only complaint is that the room was not well sound isolated, and especially in the late evening I could hear water flushing, TVs running, people snoring, etc. Not a big deal, but an opportunity for improvement. Also, I could not find a way to open the safe or turn on the air-conditioning, since no instructions were available in the room (though there was a detailed multi-page manual for the water boiler!). But generally, if you prefer to avoid the touristic flair of Stresa and stay on the quiter side of the lake, this hotel is a nice choice.

Hôtel très bien situé. Personnel très agréable. Chambre propre et confortable. Seul bémol, il y a des pertiennes sur les volets qui ne ferment pas et les doubles rideaux ne ferment pas non plus. Donc beaucoup de jour dans la chambre.

Albergo comodo e centrale, direttamente sulla passeggiata a lago. Camere confortevoli e particolarmente pulite. Belle la sala della prima colazione e la hall poiché mantengono intatti i fasti del periodo liberty per cui Pallanza è famosa.

Great place to stay on lake Maggiore
Nice old style hotel with proper lobby, right across from lakefront promenade. Best value found! Very friendly staff, free gated parking! Just our front is quiet lawn area with bars and restaurants putting their chairs out at night. Loved it.

Dejligt hotel med en god atmosfære.
Meget venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Beliggenheden er god. Lige udenfor døren afgår bådene, som er den bedste transportmiddel til de forskellige attraktioner. Værelserne er gode, men brusekabinen er meget lille.

Wonderful Visit
We enjoyed our 4 day stay very much! The hotel is old fashioned in style but with all conveniences, and most comfortable. The room was spacious, we had a little balcony, the view was amazing! The staff was most helpful and kind, both in giving us directions how to get where we wanted, and assistance. We were invited to a welcome dinner on the day of arrival which was excellent. Breakfast is very good and plentiful. Would love to return again! Special thanks to Martine and Jessica, at the Front Desk

Vackert beläget hotell vid Lago Maggiore. Härlig utsikt från rummet mot sjön om man beställt ett sådant rum. Bra frukost. Vänlig engelsktalande och serviceminded personal. Många bra restauranger nära hotellet.

Pleasant stay in Palanza
Very convenient location by the boat departure, restaurant and easy parking. Not crowded as in Stresa. Hotel staff very friendly, clean room, nice view of the lake from the room, and great breakfast. Only issues were A/C not available while it was quite hot (~32 dec C) and bed mattress pretty stiff. The experience was very pleasant overall.

Wonderful stay in Pallanza
Lovely 3 day stay on an upper floor with views of the Lake. Terrific staff, very friendly and helpful. The usual complaint for most European hotels, small cramped shower, and extra firm pillows and bed. No big deal.

Proprio sul Lago!
Avevamo bisogno di un periodo di riposo e tranquillità, così, io e mia moglie, abbiamo scelto questo Albergo anche per la posizione rispetto al Lago. Adesso possiamo dire che abbiamo scelto bene; carino il posto e bello l'Albergo assolutamente all'altezza delle aspettative! Tutto molto pulito, personale molto gentile e competente, posizione ottima per le escursioni sul lago, considerando che l'imbarco dei traghetti è veramente a due passi. I quattro giorni a nostra disposizione sono trascorsi tranquilli e riposanti.

Very well located
The hotel was well located, very close to the ferry station. The only problem was the noise in the room from other rooms, it seems that there is no insulation.

Personnel accueillant, très bien situé.
Bel hôtel bien rénové, avec personnel accueillant. Seul bémol, le bruit très puisant de chute d'eau au es sus de notre tété des qu'une personne des 4 étages du dessus tiraient la chasse d'eau où prenaient une douche. Pour un hôtel 4 étoiles, c'est assez décevant. Pour le reste rien à dire.

Très bon emplacement
Globalement satisfaits . À noter tout de même la petite taille de la salle de bains et le petit déjeuner qui manque de variété, un peu limites pour un quatre étoiles . Choisissez une chambre avec vue sur le lac, c'est superbe.

Style ancien et bon service
Rapport qualité-prix correct pour la région, même s'il ne faut pas s'attendre à des prestations d'hôtel 4 étoiles. La déco de l'hôtel est dans un style plutôt ancien, qui peut avoir un certain charme. La chambre nous a paru un peu vieillotte du coup mais elle était très confortable (lit king size) et de taille correcte. Nous avions officiellement une chambre sans vue sur le lac, mais elle donnait sur le côté du bâtiment donc nous pouvions quand même voir le lac depuis le tout petit balcon. Le service était très bien, personnel très gentil parlant le français. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est assez moyen en revanche: pas mal de choix mais qualité très moyenne.
