“Wall a/c was nice and cold, much appreciated because it was a HOT day! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Extended Continental breakfast included toast, muffins, yogurt and cereal. Accommodations were roomy and clean, however furnishings were old and needed to be updated. Bed was a little stiff and hard, however it was acceptable. Short walking distance to a few excellent places to eat. We visited Thai Thai for a boba drink and Old 395 Grill for dinner. Delicious! Also highly recommend...

“When booking at Basecamp South, the stress is on camp. The facility enjoys a great location within easy walking distance of downtown, restaurants, etc. Rooms are basic. Few outlooks, which are mostly filled by room amenities. If you want to watch TV, make sure you bring your own streaming services. Parking is both limited and risky. Within the facility there is no where to turn around. Parking on the street is a better option if you can find a space.”
