MY stay at El Cortez was fabulous! It exceeded my expectations in so many ways. Rooms were clean and updated. The hotel was in walking distance to restaurants, bars and Fremont. Staff was super friendly upon check-in. I will definitely be staying here again next time im in Vegas.

Had a great time and experience everyone was extremely nice and helpful with the exception of the waiter at Siegels 1941 it was a middle aged man who was rude from the beginning brought one of our steaks undercooked we kindly told him that we had ordered both steaks medium well he tried to argue that one was medium and the other medium well aside from that incident everything else was great

Perfect location if you plan on spending the evening enjoying the free bands and intoxicating activities at the Freemont Experience. Safe walk to AND from Freemont. Most staff were super frendly. Parking is available, but tight, take the valet option. Room and beds we clean and comfortable. And avid travelers will appreciate this one, Our smoke free room was actually smoke free smelling...(it was nice) Our fridge was quite small, just big enough to cook a few snacks and a couple beverages. Water pressure was sketchy, but got the job done. So no real complaints. I would and will stay here again. And recommend it to anyone who plans on an amazing Freemont experience!

The casino for us was very close to everything we wanted to visit such as the Mob museum and many restaurants. Great location

Room was great, some areas were clean as a whistle and others were on the level of a tenement. Elevators flat out gross and only one working the entire stay. Such potential with just a little spit and polish.

Loud music till 2:30 am! Walls were actually vibrating. TV kept losing signal, couldn’t watch! Gap in door let in too much light! Horrible stay!

I dropped my phone as we were returning to the hotel from a night out - security staff found the phone and returned it to me - big shout out to the staff at this hotel!!! Besides that, our room is beautiful! Clean, comfortable and elegant! I recommend booking a tower room, worth the extra money, especially when you compare it to the price of a room ‘on the strip’. Lovely lovely staff!

Other than having to switch rooms 3 times to get one that was clean....... El Cortez was Great..... first time staying in that area .... pleasantly suprised - would stay there again

We would love to go back to El Cortez again and I am sure we will! The staff was extremely friendly and we enjoyed interacting with them. The casino was just the right size. Not too big and not too small. We did well As far as win to loss ratios and had a great time doing it. The rooms were absolutely amazing! It felt like we were at home there. The opportunity to swipe at the kiosk every day gave us a lot of additional benefits and we enjoyed that. The only downfall we had on this trip was that the air conditioning did not seem to be working a couple days at the casino and it was quite hot in there. I thought perhaps they might bring in some emergency fans to circulate air. But that was truly the only hiccup. I am sure they will get it fixed. I would book my room higher in the tower next time because the bass from the streets especially Fremont was Notable at night but it did not preclude us from falling asleep. Fremont was crazy and fun and interesting. There are a lot of homeless people but they We're not intrusive and the hotel has excellent security. None of the people on the streets bothered us and in fact we shared leftovers with them And they were truly grateful. We will definitely be staying there again the next trip!

I love l staying at the El Cortez Cabana Suites. So vintage and gives the Old Vegas feel. Always a pleasant stay Super quiet being in the Fremont area…I always enjoy my stay.
