“Kristinn, the host was amazing. We simply asked for a later check out and she gave us an additional 2 hours, no problem. Place was adorable, hot-tubs were hot, plenty of parking for us all.”

“The staff here is incredibly kind and patient. Thanks to their warm hospitality and an adorable, friendly cat, I was able to wrap up my final night in Iceland perfectly. Unlike other accommodations in Iceland, the room was very spacious and equipped with everything from a ventilation fan and two TVs to various seasonings, making me feel like I was staying in a real European home. I had such a relaxing time, just like being at my own house—watching TV and playing with the cat.”

“The property was in a great location, which we really appreciated during our first trip to Iceland. Unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing due to a few maintenance and communication issues. Upon arrival, we discovered an unpleasant odor coming from the dishwasher, which had leftover food inside, and the main bathroom light was not working. We reported both issues, and the host offered to come by to address them. However, since we were visiting Iceland for the first time and...

“Amazing property, very accommodating and well maintained. Absolutely would stay again!”

“The best hotel”

“Check in was supposed to be by a phone call 72 hours prior, but was told to call back the day I arrived to get a key code, which was not ideal with traveling. The only heat was a portable unit. There are lots of rules about the hot tub but no instructions provided, even when I texted a request. Cabin was quite dated. WiFi password is not provided, but got it more than a day after requesting it. Definitely not worth the price.”

“We liked the location and the cabin, our only critique is it was really icy trying to get up the drive up with our luggage.”
