"I’m not saying the bedroom wasn’t okay for the price. However, the main photo showed a full kitchen, which led us to believe we could cook our own meals instead of eating out. In reality, the room only had a microwave.
After checking the description afterwards, I saw it only mentioned the microwave — but why use a picture of a full kitchen as the first photo for a standard bedroom? When a listing shows something, I expect to get exactly that.
If the photos had been accurate and hadn’t created a false impression, I would have easily given a 5-star review.
The only other downside was the late check-in, which was done via a screen with someone in California. While it might feel fancy to some, I found it quite impersonal and a bit creepy. I much prefer interacting with a real person at the front desk."
