"Upon arrival there was no one around to check in. It was because they were helping another guest who needed help. After dinner I came back and check in was smooth and everything was great."

"Nancy “Jo” at the front desk is a true gem. The hotel is at the beginning of the island and is in a small plaza with everything you need. Kappys general store has golf cart rentals and all the basics for a great stay. The hotel was perfect. Off season is quiet with the pace picking up in October. South Beach restaurant is wonderful. The beach is superb. Great getaway for wife’s BD. Would return in a heartbeat."

"They were so great and even left me a happy birthday surprise in my room!! Only thing I can say that I have complaints about is that they were allowing me late check out of 1pm saying it was a perk for my birthday. Well we decided to extend our stay one day extra and when late check out was mentioned they wouldn't do 1 pm. I felt like I almost was punished for staying an extra day by not getting my 1pm late check out as promised. :/ Other than that it was great. Room was great. Shower was amazing and definitely big enough for two !! Will book again for sure"
