“We were visiting some ancestral homes in and around the area but this location was also really convenient for Cork and Cobh. Eric the host and owner was great - super helpful and checked in every day to make sure all was well. Full shared kitchen stocked with every convenience was also great - as was having a space to hangout besides the room to do some work. Plus fun to meet other guests.”

“As always our stay was amazing. It's such a treat to get away and feel like you are in the middle on nowhere. The peace and tranquility is fantastic. It's so nice to wonder around the shop there and the food is second to none. We had a lovely light lunch when we arrived as we wanted to save our appetite for our evening meal which did not disappoint. The rooms are so cozy and the bed was so comfortable. We had a great night sleep and all set for a beautiful breakfast in the morning which again...

“It was quiet which is good. The term “Cottage”. Is certainly misleading. It was a TINY room , no amenities other than a kettle, instant coffee and tea, nothing else in the room other than a bed. The bathroom was adequate.”

“Loved the room. Its confusing when you walk in. Looks like a normal apartment style place. Their office was upstairs, which we never saw. They had shared parking in rear for free. TV was a bit small and far away inside. The key and lock for the door needed to be up graded. Very loose and didn't work that great to just slide your key in. But it did lock strong.”

“A 2 star hotel wrapped in 4 star clothing. Shower leaked, light fixtures falling off, walls scuffed. Needs attention. They have let it fall into disrepair. Great location. ”

“The location is 10/10 The room was quite small, and the bathroom was tiny. The toilet when flushed was so loud and ran for a good 5 minutes. No outlets near bed. Felt like a cruise ship cabin. The view was a back enclosed parking lot with trash cans. Breakfast was good. Staff was pleasant and quite helpful. Location was prime!”
