“It might have had a lick of paint since most of the online photos were taken, but it doesn't look as though its been cleaned much since then. Very dusty and dirty in both the rooms and the bathroom. With regards to cleaning, i'd say the bare minimum has been done. You can usually tell from the corners of the room and especially the cupboard, which was quite dirty and could have been in the same condition since any renovations. Musty smell throughout too. I noted some other reviewers noticed...

“Secure parking at rear of property. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. The extractor in the bathroom was either not working or not efficient enough to clear the steam from the room. Also if you want me to use the excellent towels for a second day, a heated towel rail needed , or any towel rail to hang the bath towel after first use. ”

“Muy linda vista frente al mar. La habitación muy básica. Nos hospedamos una noche con un niño. Muy simple. Super chica la ducha. Cuando nos íbamos no teníamos donde dejar la llave. Justo llegó una persona que abría el bar y pudimos dejar la llave. La caja donde había que dejar la llave no estaba. Llegamos tarde y nos dejaron en un sobre la llave para poder ingresar a la pieza. Eso estuvo muy bien.”

“The “spa” and “gym” were a hot tub and a dark room full of miscellaneous junk which wasn’t conducive for relaxing.”

“The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Devil's Bridge and the surrounding area. We visited the Elan Valley dams and reservoirs, the Silver Mountain and Aberystwyth. The Hotel looks stunning from the outside and inside. A lot of care has gone into every detail of the hotel. Our room was on the top floor. It was very cool and quirky, just a little bit musty smelling. (We couldn't open the windows without a load of bugs flying in so had to keep them closed unfortunately.) The bathroom...

“Practical place to stay, on the promenade. Friendly staff, dogs welcome. Clean, good bed and shower. If you go there at the weekend the parking spaces are free on the promenade for 4 hours ( Monday to Saturday, 8am-6pm).”
