“Excellent breakfast with fantastic scenery seen through the restaurant window. Kind and friendly staff as well.”

“It’s a little bit of a hike into the town center. Apparently there was some room renovations going on, so the lobby was full of stacked chairs. Two dogs were ensconced on a couple of the chairs, so the lobby smelled like dog and there was hair all over the carpet.”

“A lot of dust in the room. Appeared clean on first look, but around the headboard, light fittings and curtains it was thick with dust. Nothing a good hoover wouldn’t fix. Very convenient for the Holyhead ferry with places to eat opposite. Would have eaten in the bar, but the chef that night couldn't cater for our dietary requirements despite the menu listing items we could eat. The head chef at breakfast had no issues and provided a great breakfast.”

“Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Garden - very pretty Plenty parking spaces. Breakfast - nice big Welsh breakfast. Spa not used. Room - Clean but small, health & safety issue with the bathroom sensor light due to light keep switching off when you are in the bathroom making it so dark. My husband was having a shower and he almost fall in the bathtub when the bathroom suddenly got really dark... No restaurants near by.”

“All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was great and included in the stay. Evening meals were some of the best I have had lovely. Absolutely excellent value. Not a modern soulless hotel but an older place with a friendly atmosphere.”

“Shower was poor. Some of the rooms are being renovated but we were in a room that hadn’t been so decor & bathroom tiles were in a poor state. There was no where to hang clothes. The staff were very friendly & polite”

“We only spent one night here but it was a wonderful place to stay in Holyhead! Everything from the entrance to the room we clean, it was nice and quiet, very easy to get around to food, grocery stores, train, and the ferry. Overall, a great experience.”

“We stayed here one night as a last minute getaway from the heat back home . The property was spotless and everything was so thoughtful , so many personal touches showing the care they take with their guests . They went above and beyond when I had an issue with my car charging and drove me all the way to it, which would have cost £50 in a taxi. My children loved the animals on site and the owners were very patient answering all their questions ! Thank you so much for your kindness !”
