โA truly wonderful experience. The comfy bed offered a great night's sleep. Gary, the innkeeper was exceptionally helpful. The Scottish breakfast was superb. Plus being only a 5-minute walk to the center of Pitlochery, and a quick 5-minute drive to Blair Athol distillery, was a plus. A real value for money. โ
โAlways like Moness, the outside area is always lovely. The bar, pool and our room was first class. However breakfast was just ok. Nothing special. It wouldn't pur me off going back. ๐โ
โWe ended up in twin room as no doubles leftโฆ. Comfortable beds, ground floor was quiet.
Ate dinner in evening in restaurant it was Indian cuisine and was so delicious. Staff lovely very knowledgeable about food and helped with choices. Breakfast was equally tasty, freshly cooked and piping hot.
Would definitely like to stay here again. Thanks โ
โWe were staying for couple of days on DB&B. Hotel is in lovely setting. Very welcoming. Although no a/c in our room a fan was provided when we asked for one. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant staff really efficient. Due to slightโ
โโI stayed at the Atholl Palace Hotel for two nights, and unfortunately, I was disappointed with several aspects. The water pressure in the bathroom was weak, making it uncomfortable to shower. The bed and other facilities were quite uncomfortable as well. There was no concierge service, which I found inconvenient. Apart from the nice views and the historical charm of staying near the castle, I didnโt find much value in the experience.โโ
โAll aspects of the hotel were very good, all rooms were pleasingly decorated and as you would wish in a traditional highland hotel, even down to some whisky in the room. We requested a front room and this was provided. Great cooking. โ
โExcellent location for a short stay. We stayed in the maxwells which were very comfortable with all the right facilities. My only suggestion would be to provide split bins for waste and recycling (landfill / plastic and tins) along with a tub for compostable waste. โ
