The bedroom was very spacious and the bed was so comfortable. Spotlessly clean. “On first arriving was a bit disappointed with initial outlook but this was a wee surprise. Staff on checking in were very nice gave us directions to free parking at back of the hotel. Room was very clean and tidy bathroom was clean but for safety could do with a handle to get in and out of the shower maybe a nonslip mat in the bath and a bath mat to step out. The bar was well stocked and fairly reasonable priced, entertainment on Saturday was great amazing singer. Food at breakfast was good but...

“This is a fascinating historic property set in attractive gardens that lead down to the river. Our room was small (and advertised as such), but it was pleasant and comfortable, with a nice garden view. We had an excellent dinner in their garden restaurant, and a good breakfast.”

“It was a spacious room with comfortable beds, nice linens and a clean bathroom. Did not interact with the staff in-person, so can’t comment but the email communication I received was clear. Others have complained about hallway noise, and it is true that everything in the hallways is heard in the rooms but was not an issue during our stay. Fair price.”

The room we had was a small double and it was immaculate,clean and had everything you need . Breakfast was excellent and there was plenty to eat . You won’t be disappointed ”
