“Great place to stay. We stayed in a Mongolian yurt, which was a unique experience, like glamping. The owners are wonderful people who prepared a 5-star breakfast for our family and complemented it with friendly conversation. Overall, it's a great place for people who want to escape soulless hotel chains and create sweet memories.”

“This place was amazing. A cute little cottage tucked away privately. Received a lot of snow our first night and decided to walk down to the little in at the bottom of the Mountain for breakfast which was amazing. The hot tub and fire place were great. The host met us when we arrived. Directions were great but we weren’t sure we were in the right spot. ”

“Sauberes Zimmer, Super Frühstück, Gastgeber super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hilfe gab es auch bei der Restaurantreservierung. Im Zimmer selbst gibt es eine große Tee und Kaffeebar, sowie 2 Sessel in denen man sehe gemütlich sitzt. Aussicht ist toll und sehr ruhig gelegen. Kann jedem nur empfehlen hier her zu kommen. Die Gastgeber haben die Einrichtung sehr gut durchdacht und es ist alles da was man braucht. Das beste B&B auf unserer Schottlandrundreise. Besser als jede Hotelkette.”

“Beautiful cottage for 7 nights, everything provided in the fully furnished cottage. Allowed a later check out due to no afternoon bookings without having to request. Would highly recommend & would stay again next time I’m in the area. ”

“Went for two nights. Room was ok. TV was left on and remote didn't work at all. We had to ask about 4 times for bath towels. Also key card apparently get erased when closed to the phone which is ok but someone could tell us earlier to save me 5 trips to reception and 5th time lady seem very annoyed about it. Breakfast were just mediocre as everything was cold, not even warm, cold. And if you are vegetarian I hope you like boxed cereal. But building was very nice, warm with loads of characters....

“Stayed in a superior pod, very contemporary, comfortable, clean, and well insulated from the weather with lovely views of the loch and mountains. Not much in the immediate area food wise (would need to drive to Balloch for any alternative dining options) but the food at Oaktree was lovely, tasty and filling. Good choice of whisky too.”

“Easy check in with large spacious car park at rear. Very comfy bed and good quality linen. Only 1 chair in room when there was room for a 2nd - I hate having to sit on a bed in a hotel room. Nice clean bathroom, with big fluffy towels. Luggage rack and large wardrobe space. Iron and ironing board, plus hairdryer. No usb sockets, but plenty of 3-pin sockets. Our room was in the basement but was very quiet, and we slept well. Little box of treats in room and a kettle with tea, coffee and...

“Very centrally located. Perfect room for a one night stay. There was mention of onsite parking however this was not the case. There is a pay for car park at the rear of the property.”

“Lovely apartment, cute goats and chickens a short walk on site. Only downside for us was the kitchen was still a little dirty from previous guests, but a quick clean up did the trick”
