빅토리아역 근처인데도 매우 조용하고 직원들의 친철함도 인상적이 였다 단 좁은 방들이 붙어 있어서 그런지 방음이 좀 아쉽다

이톤 호텔에 예약을 했는데 리셉션에 찾아가서 체크인했더니 탑햄스 호텔의 방을 주더군요. 그래서 탑햄스 호텔에 대한 후기를 남기겠습니다. 우선 리셉션 직원분들이 매우 친절했습니다. 호텔 방은 매우 컸습니다. 침대도 편안했고, 화장실도 매우 크고, 사용하지는 않았지만 욕조도 있어서 좋았네요.

무언가 불편한 숙소
호텔 주소에 도착하니 호텔 리셉션이 없어 매우 황당하였으며, 조금 떨어진 곳에서 안내를 받아 매우 불편하였다. 휴일이라서 그런지 안내 직원도 매우 불친절하여 첫인상이 별로 좋지는 않았다. 엘리베이터가 없이 3층으로 짐을 끌고 올라간다는 것은 정말 힘들었던 기억이고, 객식이 전반적으로 어둡고 샤워 부스는 배수가 잘 되지 않은 숙소였다.

I made a reservation for 3 days. But the first day, they said there was a problem so we have to stay a dirty and tiny room without bathroom. And if we stand just 1night, they will change our room the best, they will sent us good wine blar blar...I said i understand and thats ok but the second day the receptionist said she doesn't know anything and we should stay at the same room cuz they don't have any room. I said it doesn't make sense and after some arguement she changed our room. They never said sorry. They should be shame theirselves.

hotel closed
It was my first time near Victoria coach station. For the transfer the coach I booked this hotel, and found the hotel easily but the reception closed and it embarrassed me. And found small A4 size notice to go to the next door another hotel reception. There's no explanation of hotel changing and no pre-notice at all.

호텔의 위치는 아주 좋습니다. 만약 개트윅공항을 이용한다면 4분거리에 런던 빅토리아 역이 있어서 익스프레스를 바로 이용할 수도 있고, 빅밴이나 웨스트민스터 사원, 버킹엄궁전도 걸어갈 수 있는 거리에 있습니다. 하지만 침대가 너무 불편하고, 방은 많이 좁습니다. 포함된 조식도 부실한 편에 속합니다. 호텔에서 편하게 지내고 싶은 분들 보다는 관광지를 편하게 가는 위치를 중요하게 생각하는 분들에게 추천하고 싶은 호텔입니다. 아무래도 런던 물가대비 저렴한 부분이 고려되면 나쁘지 않은 선택이라고 생각되네요.

Great location right down the road from Victoria station and friendly staff who allowed us to check in early as our room was ready. The room was comfortable with a nice bathroom facilities. The breakfast was minimal in what was left at 9 am, with breakfast finishing at 10 am.

New management saved us
Previous management took our money and ran. Overbooked shabby hotel with tiny rooms. Building owner brought in their staff to help us at the hotel next door, Topham Hotel and they were fabulous, Christina and Anna thank you for your hospitality.

The location doesn't make up for the rest
On check in, the agent tried to upsell me to the "sister" hotel (where the service desk is) stating that the other hotel was "much nicer". When I turned them down they took me to a basement room in the Eaton Square building down the street. WiFi was sketchy and didn't cover the whole room. Later I discovered there were no towels, and phoned the desk. They told me to go back to the other hotel to collect my own towels. There were cobwebs on the lights, and very dirty grout in the shower. The carpet on the stairs to the room is frayed, and the paint on the walls throughout is old and chipped. The kicker was listening to the rats in the walls. I'm not making that up -- I took a video of the sounds.. chewing and chirping. On the other hand, the location is great. I could walk everywhere I needed to be. That said, I wouldn't stay here again.

Gent.ma Expedia, ancor prima di recensire l'albergo, la recensione la faccio a voi, ed inizio con una domanda: Come fa un'azienda come la vostra ad accettare la collaborazione di una "struttura" palesemente scorretta e ingannevole come la EATON SQUARE HOTEL? Veniamo ai fatti, foto fuorvianti, condizioni delle camere proposte da fuori legge, per lo meno in Italia, a Londra a questo punto non lo so. In una delle camere, nel seminterrato, le pareti erano grondanti di acqua, quasi come se qualcuno le avesse appena bagnate con abbondanti secchiate di acqua, questa umidità, si estendeva in più pareti da circa 1.60 metri al pavimento, ed ovviamente comprendeva anche zone delle pareti in cui vi erano prese elettrice, una roba del genere in Italia sarebbe dichiarata INAGIBILE per rischio incendio e chiusa. Purtroppo questa è l'unica stanza in cui non ho potuto fare foto, si sono badati bene dal chiuderla non appena hanno capito che io li non ci avrei mai dormito a costo di dormire per strada. L'altra camera proposta, aveva un bagno esterno fatiscente, molta umidità sparsa, diciamo la copia della camera precedente, ma senza pareti bagnate. A questo punto torniamo nella Hall, e li comincia una lunghissima trattativa, per proporci due camere diverse, a loro dire più costose, ed il prezzo da pagare sarebbe stato di circa 460€ in più per entrambe le camere in totale. Continuerò il racconto in una mail, perché qui ho terminato lo spazio a disposizione

The only positive about this hotel is the proximity to Victoria station. Otherwise, 1. The reception is not manned by an actual person at 8pm. You need to walk 5 doors down the street. 2. The room I was eventually shown was down in a deep, narrow stairwell to the basement. 3. The furniture in the room was old, dated and mismatched. 4. I did not see any amenities i.e. tv 5 The bathroom was not worth looking at. 5. No WiFi The sister hotel 5 doors down the street was the Tomphas I believe. I was offered a room there as an alternative. 1. The staff were cold and sulky 2. The room was on the ground level but one had to walk down a narrow, winding corridor, littered with vacuum cleaners, tools and other debris. 3. The furniture and bathroom was a bit better however there were stains everywhere, mould, marked walls and the 'twin bed' were two single beds that separated if you leaned on the middle. 6. I inquired about the tv not working. The gentleman receptionist told me he'd send a technician. 45mins later the female receptionist tells me that tv is out in the whole building and wouldn't be fixed until the morning. She was quite unapologetic. 7. They had the gall to charge me an extra £100 for the change. So i paid approx $260 to sleep in a filthy, cramped dump. 8. Yes, an 8th: No hot water in the shower so i bathed from the sink, standing on the floor.

Da vi ankom til hotellet kl 14.15 da måtte vi vente til ca. 14.45 på at få vores nøgler til vores værelser og receptionisten var ikke særlig i mødekommende og venlig. Da vi fik vores værelser var de beskidte og meget nusset bade cabinen var meget gammel beskidt og der lugtede ikke godt. På et af værelserne kunne man ikke åbne noget vindue. Så der var meget indelukket. En af sengene havde en meget slidt madrass. Gardinerne kunne ikke trækkes for da de var gået i stykker. Om morgen opdagede vi at vi ikke kunne komme i bade da bruserne ikke virkede. Vi sagde det til receptionen som indrømmede at det ikke virkede og ville i første omgang spidse os af med 4 gange engelsk brekfast men dette sagde vi nej til da vi ønskede et værelse med bad. Det fik vi så endelig men værelset var også beskidt og der lugtede gammelt og indelukket. Badet virkede men madrassen i sengen var meget gammel og slidt. Og vinduet kunne ikke åbnes . Vi kan på ingen måde anbefale dette hotel. Det eneste der var super godt var, beliggenheden meget tæt på Viktoria station

very disappointing experience
I stayed for one night at this hotel instead of five I had originally planned. First room they gave me, had an electricity malefaction (couldn't turn on the lights). Second room was very small with no bathroom inside!!!! Third room was down the basement, dirty bathroom, dirty bed sheets, even something that looked like blood stain on the wall!!!! I have pictures to prove all I am saying. And I was paying for a big double room with bathroom, view, etc I understand they have one or maybe two renovated rooms, they show on internet sites, bur the rest of the hotel is old, dirty, overpriced.

Absolute nightmare and disgusting hotel
This hotel is a disaster!!! Every single time I passed through the lobby someone was complaining about something (dirty, doesn't match the pictures, washroom is not connected, no wifi). Personally from our experience the first room we were put in did not have Air conditioning or wifi. The room was dirty and grungy. The shower had mold on every wall. We requested a different room and that room was just as dirty with a broken A/C unit. Tiles in bathroom were also dirty. By far the most disgusting thing was a blood stain on the wall in plain site. The only great thing about this hotel was the night manager Andrew. He was so helpful and did everything he could for us to make the stay bearable. I never been in a hotel this bad before in my life. I hate doing reviews but I needed to let the public know so they do not spend a lot of money on a half a star hotel.

Place was a dump. I understand you get what you pay for but good grief. Immediately saw AC hadn’t worked in what was probably years. There was a bandaid on one of the walls. Place looked dirty from top to bottom. We considered just eating the money and finding another place - but for tourists, it’s location in central London was too good. We used it only for sleeping, and even that was too much.

Not like the pictures
The one big positive about this hotel was the location. One block from Victoria station, and close to Westminster Abbey/Buckingham Palace. However, I would definitely recommend finding another place to stay. The room was in poor condition, with several outlets not working, and stains on the celing and walls. There were a shower and sink in the room, but the water temperature would change without warning. But probably the most frustrating part of this experience was that the pictures of the room were not reflective of the room itself. It was much smaller and significantly less clean than in the pictures presented. Finally, the room was extremely hot. We had the window open all the way, but as the rooms are on the second and third floors, they are extremely warm.

Down the cellar
Enligt beskrivningen skulle man få stadsutsikt. Jag fick ett fuktigt rum nere i källaren. -det enda jag såg var en smutsig minibakgård. Internet utlovades - det stod t o m hur man skulle logga in på nyckelkortet. Efter ett antal misslyckade försök gick jag till receptionen - som är i ett hotell 100 m ort från Eaton Square Hotel. Nej där bara de skrattade och sa att det finns bara ett ställe det fungerar...i baren på det andra hotellet...inte alls på Eaton Square. Städningen obefintlig. Däremot kom de med nya handdukar i överflöd...Men så är det i London, trycket efter rum är så stort att Du nästan kan hyra ut vad som helst. Frukosten, kontinental, var väl någorlunda. Listan kan göras längre...Ingen mer bokning där för mig iallafall.

Terrible room with poor service (and no WiFi)
I will preface this by saying that I understood this to be a tiny room with little else than a bed, bathroom, and WiFi. This would be perfectly fine for me as I was just looking for a place to spend one quick night. However, the tiny room was in very poor condition. The carpet looked so dirty I did not want to step on it without shoes, the bathroom was shockingly tiny - the shower was so small I couldn't even bend over in it - and the shower door actually stuck so I was trapped inside for 5 minutes before I could finagle it open! The bathroom door seemed to be made of cardboard it was so flimsy and would not even stay shut. The window would also not latch shut. There was no elevator or anyone who could help me bring my bags up the stairs. The worst part was that there was NO WIFI in the room the whole time. As a traveler with no cell phone coverage, this was a must. The reason for no WiFi, according to the error message I received, was because no one had paid the bill. No phone in the room to call reception (which wasn't even in the same building) so I had to walk down the block to speak with someone. I tried to talk to someone at the reception in the other building and they dismissed it and said I could use the WiFi there - but I needed to reach my travel partners overnight and in the morning. The room also had incredibly thin walls so I couldn't sleep all night with the inexplicable crashing sounds coming from upstairs. Room was worth maybe $50, not anything like I paid.

Great location
Great location for train station which is why we choose this hotel. Check in was at another hotel up the road. Got the option to pick a room. Room was ok, fine for an overnight stay. Shower had nice hot water. Shower gel and soap supplied. Check out was early due to train so 24h manned reception was beneficial for us. Member of staff on reception was helpful and polite. Only issue was the bed. Broken slates meant we had to sleep the other way round but no massive issue for one night stay. Overall an ok hotel room, if it’s location you are looking for this is great!!

Ok for friends or couple quick stay
Strange set up. It's a single wide five story building in the middle of a long row of buildings. The office (check in) is in the Tophams Hotel about 10 doors down. The room was small and clean, it was ok. The main hallway had water damage and peeling paint. Breakfast is in the Tophams and was pretty good.

Billiges Hotel aber immerhin im Zentrum
Das Hotel war sehr alt und die Zimmer sahen dementsprechend aus. Sie waren teils schmuzig mit Schimmel-Spuren im Bad und in der Minibar und sehr Ringhörig. Das Bad inkl. Dusche hatte ca. 2 Quadratmeter und der Wasserdruck gefühlte 10 Tropfen/Sekunde. Das WLAN funktionierte mehrere Tage nicht und es kümmerte sich trotz unserer Anfrage niemand darum. Die ersten beiden Nächte mussten wir noch in Schwesternhotel 'Topham Hotels' ein paar Häuser weiterverbringen jnd da waren die Zimmerzustände noch schlimmer. Für 2 Personen hatte es ein 1.2m breites Bett und ums Bett herum ca. 0.5m Platz bis zur Wand. Man flog also regelrecht über die Koffer usw. In der Nacht wurde es trotz geöffnetem Fenster und niedrigen Aussentemperaturen ca. Stickige 30° warm. Es war somit also nicht günstig sondern billig aber immerhin nur ca. 2 Gehminuten von der Victoria Station entfernt, die sehr Zentral liegt und bei der gleich mehrere U-Bahnlinien halt machen.

Ayant lu tous les commentaires dont la majorité sont négatifs, j'avais beaucoup d'appréhensions. Au final, ce n'était pas si terrible que ça. C'est sûr que la chambre et l'hôtel auraient besoin d'un bon rafraichissement. La literie était pourrie aussi. L'accueil a été super par du staff très sympa. Mon but était de se promener toute la journée et de ne rentrer que le soir, pas trop tôt et dormir. L'hôtel a donc rempli ces conditions. Est-ce que j'y séjournerai à nouveau? Non.

It was awful: grumpy staff, a disgusting room, smelly and shabby corridors and room, broken sink, damaged furniture and damp! I would never stay in this hotel again. This hotel should be removed from Hotels.com as it is a pigsty!

Sehr einfaches Stadthotel
Sehr einfaches Hotel nähe Victoria Station ideal zum erreichen des Gatewick Express. Chaotisch eingerichtet mit mini Dusche und mini WC am Gang. Sehr klein, Bett schräg gestellt um beiden einen Zugang zu ermöglichen und nur Stehlampe weil Deckenleuchte kaputt.

Fantastica Londra
Prima volta in questa meravigliosa città. Di sicuro ci tornerò ancora. Ottimi i trasporti anche se la posizione dove eravamo, potevamo spostarci anche a piedi. Tutto fantastico. La consiglio a tutti.

Disappointed to be in central London with such poor accommodation considering the photos that made it look so nice.

Appalling - don't even consider it!
Wouldn't recommend this hotel at all. Doesn't look anything like it does in the photos they advertise - reality is it's old and in poor condition. They put me in a single room instead of the double booked and when I queried it offered me a double that had a bed totally sunken in the middle. Bathroom was portacabin style, all plastic, bits falling off, tiny shower cubicle, toilet with bits chipping off, I could go on and on. Staff are rude (receptionist didn't look up when I walked up to the check in counter and just said 'yes?' instead of any kind of normal, friendly greeting), unhelpful and customer service is very lacking - sat in the breakfast room for 20 minutes this morning waiting to be asked if I wanted tea or coffee, no one came over so I left - the lady on reception asked if I was already finished and I said no one is serving to which she shrugged. Thoroughly unimpressed and will never return.
