The hotel is near the Tower of London and the Tower Bridge which is why I picked it. The rooms are pretty standard, not many channels available inside the rooms and no phone service to contact the front desk if needed. I had issues with a nonstop running toilet, but hotel staff looked into the issue immediately after it was reported.

Room was very clean, newly renovated, crisp sheets, on the smaller side but it's london so to be expected. Staff were friendly and helpful with storing bags. Easy check in, all around great experience, and great value for money! Would certainly stay again on my next visit to london!

The facilities, food, staff and refreshments were excellent. The hotel itself was well maintained and the staff were very attentive to ensuring this. Ideal location for travel around London and the staff were excellent helping their customers. However, the room was not as quiet as hoped as I could hear the neighbours TV through the wall, I was awoken by a banging in the pipes when the neighbour showered and there was also a worrying smell coming from the air conditioning unit that prevented it being used. Despite this, I cannot fault the staff who did their very best to support my stay - great ambassadors for their hotel and brand - thank you :)

Modern Hotel
I travel for work and need hotels that cover the basics well, but have to meet our (ancient) expense policy. Motel One is modern and meet those requirements well. Warm shower, comfortable bed and the rooms like looks like they are taken care of. Shower was hot, and had good pressure, even with the ‘eco’ setting the most hotels have now (mostly to save on their water bill!) Bed was comfortable with nice smelling fresh sheets. It was a bonus that the room was very quiet - in a busy city like London, you tend to hear noise all the time. The room was small, but not in a cramped way, more of a here is all the space you need, but not much else. Guest wifi was speedy and easy to sign in to. Finally, the styling was modern and fresh, with no snags that I could see. Most hotels these days tend to be repainted for the 13th time and have bit of trim missing, old windows, and obvious blemishes. I would recommend a stay here as a solo traveller or maybe a one nighter. I would be cautious if you using this as a base for a few days (unless you can get a room size bigger?)

Wie immer weiß man bei Motel one was man bekommt, so auch hier in London. Zimmer waren sauber und es hat alles funktioniert, Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit Frühstücksatmosphäre direkt zwischen Eingang und Empfang grenzwertig, aber auch das ist Motel one Style. Wie überall (Hamburg, Zürich etc.) war auch hier am Sonntag das Obst aus, Die Preise waren unseres Erachtens trotz Silvester wirklich sehr hoch und eigentlich nicht mehr das, wofür Motel one steht. Dennoch finden wir das Konzept cool und werden wieder in Motel ones übernachten.

Make sure to check how much they charge!
We were charged almost $100 more than what we had additionally agreed to and what was on our hotels.com confirmation. At the time we didn't argue, because we had just come in from a long day of traveling and I needed to review what the email was, this also occurred at the Motel One-Princes in Edinburgh (seems to be common with the chain). The bathroom smelled of mildew and mold.

Das Motel One ist die perfekte Unterkunft für einen kurzen Städtetrip nach London. Die Zimmer sind für britische Verhältnisse groß. Das Mobiliar ist teilweise etwas „abgerockt“ aber ausreichend. Für Kleidung ist leider kaum Platz sodass es wirklich nur für ein paar Tage ist oder man aus dem Koffer leben muss. Das Bad war ok, leider hatten wir viele fremde Haare an der Decke, das hätte nicht sein müssen. Der Ausblick ist der Wahnsinn! Wir waren im 15. Stock und konnten die Skyline von London sehen.

Dated old rooms don’t match the reception
Initial impression of hotel at reception was lovely and modern. Sadly the rooms did not meet that expectation, dated decor and worn out carpets, wood chip wall paper. Booked this for a special occasion, should have stuck to booking a premier inn. Staff were friendly and helpful. Just very disappointed in the room.

Nytt hotell i trivelig strøk
Bra hotell i rolig gate like ved Tower of London og Tower bridge. Vi hadde rom i 14. etasje med utkikk til Shard. Fin standard, sjøl om det ikke er mye gulvplass. Flott bad! Hyggelig lobby med bar. Manglet dog fatøl. Sistnevnte var umiddelbart mulig å få tak i på trivelige puber i nærheten. Kommer nok tilbake!

Small rooms but comfortable
Clean and comfortable. In a great location for central London, just a few minutes walk from the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Rooms are quite small with minimal storage but it works if you just need a bed. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again

Good location small room
This is a well situtated hotel with easy access to see all of London. Breakfast is ok but destination a bit to much design over comfort. Nothing to complain about but cannot think of any real positive thing that sticks out. Perhaps the lifts - no waiting time even in ”rush hours”.

Très bon hôtel, situé près des métros et liens autobus et tout près de la Tour et du Pont de Londres. Très propre, chambre confortable, excellent accueil. Le buffet déjeuner (petit déjeuner) est excellent. Je recommande.
