Great for a solo work trip

My stay here was ideal: I was working in London for 7 days and this little apartment allowed me to prepare my own meals and relax each night. It's a compact space with a generous sized bathroom, which works when you need an affordable place to crash. I found the bus links great and there are lots of supermarkets nearby. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful and the general experience was very positive. I would stay here again for another work trip.

Good place in Shoreditch for not too much

It's a good place to stay in Shoreditch for not too much money. I like the kitchen that you get though we all the restaurants about I didn't use it this time. There was some noise from the bar and endless stream of Deliveroo drivers but they stopped fairly early. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was functional.

Reasonably good

Apartment compact and suitable for short stay. Only solo would be better. Bit tired with a faulty plug socket not secure. Good shower and fresh linen. Noisy with pub immediately next door until midnight.

The admin at the desk was very poor. The room was tiny compared with the photo of the room. There was mild in the shower. A cramped room.

Terrible

The whole room was a patchwork of different materials and various black tape. The taps on the kitchenette sink were smashed. The bed wasn’t fresh. Reception is a cupboard. Wish I’d read the reviews beforehand

We were visiting for just 2 days. The room didn't look like anything like the pictures shown. Very small for 2 ppl. Tv didn't work. The noise from outside was deafening and even when we closed the windows we could hear everything. The bed was ok. The shower was ok. There was no shampoo in the dispenser. There was tiny kitchen but no place to eat the food.

Cat urine, filth and terrible service

The hotel has a random Cat strolling the hotel. It is unclean and smells of urine. I did not even make it to my room. I asked for a refund which the receptionist denied, and said there was nothing he could do. As I had to contact their head office in India. I should have checked the previous reviews before booking. And would recommend Hotel.com remove this from their listing. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Needs a little tlc

I found the Manager very helpful and kind. However the room had a few issues that need addressing for it to be better, including things being too high for me to reach eg. Items in the kitchen wall cupboards and the window openers.There was a buzzing noise from the box above the door when the fridge clicked on and it continued until it clicked off again, and the toilet flush kept running and although the manager showed me there was a knack to it, I had real trouble getting it to stop. As it was only for one night it was acceptable but if I was staying longer these things would have become irritating. Could be improved with a few tweeks.

Mixed views. Booked with credit card/balance on arrival per expedia standard. Got message asking for upfront payment by direct transfer. Banking ap indicated unverifiable details, advised caution re fraud. Tried to phone using provided number. Recognised in phone as 'millenium appartments' but number disconnected immediately with 'number does not exist ' message. Tried contactinexpedia virtual assisstant , no reply, but eventually managed to check via expedia messaging. Finally got agreement to card payment on arrival and all fine; but above is hugely off putting. Non functioning contact number is v bad. Situation handy for transports. Not much traffic around but a lot of bars: rowdy till well after midnight, including throwing out waste bottles and refuse truck collecting at about 1 am. Facilities good range, but a little tired eg shower fitting had obviouly leaked but mended by covering with sealant rather then repair or replace unit. Shower head leaked a lot so poor water pressure. Lime scale in shower tray, some black mould around outside. None of it terrible but given price this and similar examples of incomplete maintainance made it rather jaded. Finally soundproofing rather poor. Not the fault of the hotel that there was someone repeatedly and noisily vomiting in the room next door on the first night, or late nigh revelry couole with the hound of the baskervilles howling at the moon on the second, but it was loud enough to be as if they were in bed with us. Return? No.

Wouldn't stay again

You get what you pay for. Despite booking a pay at venue property I was contacted two days ahead and told to pay, otherwise the booking would be cancelled. Arrived to check in and was told I had to pay a £75 deposit for each room, which would then be refunded after a week. I wasn't made aware of this beforehand. Rooms are completely acceptable but the location is very noisy, so not ideal for light sleepers. After checking in I then saw I had received emails from both hotels.com and Expedia telling me my reservations had been cancelled by the venue. These were sent mid afternoon on the day of the booking, thank goodness I didn't see them before checking in because that would have caused a huge panic. Not impressed at all.

Bæsj i gangen

Vi hadde lave forventninger og var forberedt på et rom/leilighet hvor standarden var under middels og rommene trange. Rommene var helt greie, ikke mye for pengene, men et minimum .Vårt rom manglet dusjforheng og selve dusjhodet var løst. Det som var verre enn at forventet var rensligheten. Det gikk katter rundt i gangene som gikk på do rundt i hotellet. Det stinket kattepiss i gangene og ene dagen hadde den ene katten lagt igjen en stor bæsj rett utfor døra. Da vi sa ifra om dette var det hverken en beklagelse eller hastverk med å fikse opp, bæsjen ble liggende en god stund til. Hvis det finnes ledige rom hos andre hotell i området, velg de. Ikke bra. Anbefales ikke for noen.

Nice apartment, less good building management

The actual room/apartment was brilliant. The service upon arrival wasn't warm or welcoming. Not rude, but would've liked a better reception. General cleanliness was OK until the last day when we found dog or cat poo on the welcoming mat inside the front door of the building. This was there from morning until the following morning when we checked out - unsure when it would eventually get cleaned. There was a cat roaming the down stairs reception area which could explain it.

You get what you pay for!

The hotel does not have 24hr access and the 3pm check-in time is "at" not "from". I was put into the smallest room adjacent to the reception. I could hear the reception phone ringing through the wall all night. At 3am I was awakened by a large group leaving the hotel, all talking at the top of their voices. At 4am I was awakened again by another foreign contingent, either arriving, or getting in - also speaking at the top of their voices with no respect for anyone else in the hotel. There were no staff around to talk to or to contain the noise. At 6am I was awakened by the refuse trucks below, collecting glass from the numerous clubs and bars beneath the hotel.

Honestly this stay was really disappointing. The place was way smaller that it looks on the pictures. Especially the reception was a cupboard, the staff took my card to proceed with the payment when I had already pay and asked to pay a £75 deposit that will be paid back again to me in 7 day, I haven't received that money yet and it has been more than that. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

Our apartment with the loft bedroom was a safety hazard. The stair way/reception area was so cramped no one else could be in the same area at the same time. When checking in they had 2 bookings for us, the first was the correct booking in September for 4 nights. the second was a duplicate booking for the same dates but in October 2023. I told them this was not correct and they said they could not cancel from their end, they did not try and help us! I emailed expedia and let them know. Today 1/11/23 we have received an email asking for payment for the october stay! To make things worse, I dropped my jacked on the way out, when I called them to see if they had found it they told us they threw it away in the rubbish! How nice.......

Affordable Hotell Savoy Apartements

A small but nice room with badrum!! Safebox, micro and almost all thing you need for cooking and eating, iron, TV, AC, really Good bed and thr bed linen. Slightly dark area, near to Metro.

Terrible

Hideous place. Booked a double room. Bloke on desk could not speak English - Had to translate with his brother by telephone. I had paid upfront and he tried to charge me again even though I presented a receipt! I gave up in the end - We managed to catch the last train home. Do not use this 'Establishment' Honestly terrible.
