The hotel location is excellent, very close to subways, many restaurants nearby, walking distance to many tourist attractions places. But rooms are very small, double bed is too small for two people, bed mattress was not comfortable. When we were there just happened in London heat wave, with no AC, room is almost unbearable!

The room was a large studio with patio. The bed was “OK” and the pillows were hard. Shower was great and the kitchen worked fine. Staff was efficient and courteous. But the smoke alarm in the room went off several times at 3:30 AM the first night- apparently a low battery caused it? Quiet room otherwise and the air conditioning was welcome in a city that got to the mid 30s*c/low 90s*f

"You get what you pay for." Close. But in this case, you get more. It's very centrally located. From St. Pancras/Kings Cross which is a very short walk away, you can get anywhere in London. The room was a 3-star and what we paid for and as expected. The only 'complaint' really was that our 2 suitcases and 2 carry-ons took up most of the available floor space. There's laundry on site. The shower's water pressure was excellent and the hot water plentiful (don't let your partner flush while you're in the shower!). The staff were very helpful and reacted quickly and efficiently to a problem with our door lock. Extremely affordable way to see London inexpensively. We're older travellers and we were comfortable. Like most of London, it's not disability-friendly - Stairs everywhere; our room was about 12 steps down from the street.

Told our room was on 2nd floor. Actually on 5th floor. We knew there was no lift, but had to go 2 doors down for our place, and after we got to 2nd floor, realized it we had to go to 5th floor. We would have appreciated knowing that and getting help with our luggage. Felt like the girl knew what floor we were on. Frustrating. Room was clean and sufficient.

Ideally situated 10mins walk from King's Cross & St. Pancreas stations, and similar to Russell Square tube. Quiet area with a few pubs and nice shopping centre with eateries on the way to Russel Square. Easy walk to British Museum. Nice area behind King's Cross and St. Pancreas, Coal Drops Yard shopping and restaurants. Property was clean, decent size, good small kitchen. Bathroom a bit small, especially the shower cubicle, but not too big a negative for the property for the price. Nice garden area at back on a nice day. Easy check in and out. Only other negative was amount of laundry bags in the hallways. But would definitely stay again.

When we arrived, having already checked in online with the instruction that we just needed to pick up keys from reception, the receptionist didn't even look at us for the first couple minutes and then made a phone call before checking us in. We were given the choice between a room on the top floor with three tall flights of stairs or in the basement. We took the top floor room, which meant we had to go two doors down, back out into pouring rain, before then climbing all the stairs with two large suitcases. Once we got to the room, it was set up well and had what we needed, although the shower door did not fully close. Great location, comfortable room, and we might stay again if we find a deal and have much less luggage, but we'll know that the reception staff will keep us waiting.
