The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were all friendly! There was a bus stop right in front of the hotel, so it was convenient to move around! However, the room I stayed in didn't have a refrigerator, so it might be a little difficult in the summer! I stayed in the winter, so it wasn't a big problem!

Das Hotel ist einfach, aber sehr sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für den Städtetrip vollkommen ausreichend, wenn man low budget unterwegs ist und keine zu hohen Ansprüche mitbringt. Leider gab es keine Klimaanlage und es war heiß in London. Dafür hatten sie aber ein Ventilator ins Zimmer gestellt. Das Frühstück war eher typisch Britisch, aber es gab auch Toastbrot und Nutella, frisches Obst, Yoghurt und Cerealien. Für mich absolut ausreichend, da inklusive gebucht. London City ist fußläufig erreichbar und die Bahnstation für den Stansted Express quasi um die Ecke. Es gibt aber auch eine Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Tür. Im Großen und Ganzen war ich sehr zufrieden. Würde jederzeit wieder dort buchen.

We travelled through 4 countries in Europe in 2.5 weeks and the Travelodge was by far the worst experience. The bathroom was ok no visible hair, didn’t feel comfortable walking barefoot though, towels had stains, basically water filled in soap dispensers in the shower and to wash hands. Only two towels provided and no toilet paper top up. Fan was broken and no AC. No safe. You could hear everything, sounded like doors being slammed every time someone left their room. Location was ok if familiar with the tube but not really close to anything touristy. Would never recommend or go back.

I stayed for 2 nights with two children. I would highly recommand this hotel for families. The family room had to large beds and was clean. The hotell also have a good coffeeshop where you can buy softdrinks, coffee and some food. The children loved the italienmade pizza margerita. The underground is in walking distance. You often have to change line once, but we got to Picadelly sirkus, Oxford street and London Eye in less than 20 minuts. There are some traffic noice from the road in the room, but it didn’t bother us. The hotel stoff was friendly towards the children

Hôtel très agréable et chambres petites mais proposées. Nous étions à quatre ( d’eux adultes et deux enfants). Déjeuners copieux inclus…;) Le quartier est bien , bien qu’un peu excentré du « centre ». Il est néanmoins bien desservi au niveaux des transports.

Good situation, adequated rooms,- even if quite small in the case of 4 people ones. But the service was clearly deficient: We’ve stayed for 4 nights, and the room was only done one of them. After complaining, I was told that I had to specifically ask at the reception before 11 AM for the room to be cleaned. If not, the cleaning team was too busy to clean all rooms. Just to state that this was not informed anywhere in the hotel, neither said at the check in. Totally unacceptable!

Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel soll demnächst renoviert werden, was es auch sehr nötig hat, Interieur ist sehr veraltet. Wir hatten ein 3er Zimmer, was ausreichend groß war. Leider hatten wir erst am dritten Tag eine Zimmerreinigung, Handtücher wurden uns jedoch direkt ausgehändigt. Da wir dies dem Umstand zu Gute heißen, dass wir während den Trauerfeierlichkeiten der Queen in London verweilten und das Hotel daher komplett ausgebucht zu sein schien, haben wir auch ein Auge zugedrückt. Insgesamt eine gute Lage um die Stadt zu erkunden und eine Bushaltestelle gibt es direkt vor der Haustür. Frühstück war typisch englisch, jedoch wurde immer schnell nachgefüllt. Insgesamt hat der Frühstücksraum ein Flair von Bahnhofshalle, aber der wird ebenfalls demnächst renoviert. Fazit: für einen Städtetrip okay, wenn man ein günstiges Hotel mit guter Anbindung sucht.

Das Foto des Hotels zeigt ein wunderschönes, majestätisches, großes Haus am Anfang einer Straßenfront. In der Realität liegt aber das eigentliche Hotel 300 Meter dahinter, an der Seite (wenn man es weiß kann man davon etwas auf dem Foto sehen)und hat mehr den Charme einer Jugendherberge.

Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Allowed me to early check in (mid-afternoon) which was great. One staff member was able to give me directions to everything I needed. Forget his name, black, a bit older than the rest of the staff, knew where to find everything! Downside: no air conditioning and it was HOT! Global warming is here--time to put a/c units in each room. Forced to open the window and it was loud outside with a local event, garbage trucks, and drunk people all night. You also need better maps of the area, not just the free maps from the city where everything is so small you can't read it.

Hi there - I booked my stay through CheapTickets, and was supposed to have a room that came with WiFi for my stay. When I checked in, they told me they did not have me down for having WiFi, so I didn't get it. Even though I know when I booked through CheapTickets, I added the option to have daily WiFi. I reached out to Cheap Tickets on my first day, and never heard back. Thus never had WiFi during the week. The hotel staff was also just loud at all times. One morning there were fire alarms going on for 20+ minutes. I finally poked my head out in the hall to ask what it was, and they said not to worry they were "testing the alarms." Great time to test the alarms, in the morning, when people are still sleeping. The cleaning staff was also extremely loud in the hallways, also during the morning. Overall, for what I paid, just thought the stay and hotel was lousy. Also not satisfied with my experience with CheapTickets, the WiFi situation, or the fact that when I originally reached out to the hotel to confirm my stay, they said the hotel had been cancelled on your end. No idea why or what happened, but it was an inconvenience to me to then have to re-check in to have my key reactivated as my 4 night stay was now a 3 night stay, and then a 1 night stay. For whatever reason.

Gut gelegenes Hotel für Städtetrip
Für einen Städtetrip ist das Hotel zu empfehlen. Mit der Bushaltestelle vor der Tür erreicht man sehr viele Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wir hatten das Glück, ein Zimmer zum Innenhof zu haben, sehr ruhig. Zur Straße hin sehr laut. Frühstück ist typisch englisch, leider fehlt etwas Käse. Die Auswahl ist beschränkt. Der Supermarkt nebenan schafft Abhilfe.

Fin beliggenhed, når man kommer fra Stansted til Liverpool Street Station. Herfra kort gåtur til hotellet. Meget serviceminded personale. Godt værelse med komfortabel seng. Morgenmad med koldt og varmt var ok. Busstop udenfor hotellet.

Nur für kurzen Städtetrip zu empfehlen
Das Hotel liegt nur wenige Gehminuten von den u-Bahn Stationen entfernt. Es gibt nur britisches Frühstück (Ei, Bohnen, Speck, Würsten, Toast und Cornflakes). Die Zimmerreinigung war sehr schlecht. 5 Tage lang wurde nur das Bett gemacht und der Papierkorb geleert. Keine Reinigung des Bodens oder des Bads. W-lan ist pro Tag 30 min frei. Danach 3£ pro Tag. Die Verbindung war sehr schlecht und ist teilweise ausgefallen.

We were here pre Christmas and other guests were incredibly noisy banging doors and talking in corridors from very early morning. Single bed in the room was dreadful - you could feel every spring. hotel was close to tube and very central for major London attractions.

Preiswertes komfortables Hotel in Laufnähe zur Liverpool Street, Bushaltestelle vor der Tür. Sehr bequeme Betten, USB Ladebuchsen in den Steckdosen. Perfect location for business trip
Perfect location, public transport (bus) directly informs of hotel, Tube (Northern Line -Old street) in convenient walking distance (5 min). Clean room, hair dryer was missing, good English and Continental breakfast, bar service with Happy Hour.

Hotel sencillo pero limpio y muy centrico
Hotel con perfecta relación precio calidad, habitaciones sencillas en instalaciones y mobiliario pero suficientes para una estancia de una semana haciendo turismo. El personal muy agradable y los desayunos correctos. Sí hay que poner un pero, yo diría que el que no se disponga de alfombra de baño y un poco justos con las toallas.

Das Hotel bietet eine einfache Unterkunft mit einem guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Lage ist gut, zwischen den U-Bahnstationen Moorgate (10min zu Fuss, viele Verbindungen) und Old Street (7min zu Fuss; nur Northern Line, Umsteigemöglichkeiten in King's Cross). Die Zimmer sind leider sehr ringhörig. Die Strasse ist vielbefahren und es hat auch ein paar Baustellen in der Nähe, die man durch die Fenster sehr gut hört. Auch die Zimmertüren sind überhaupt nicht schallisoliert und schliessen mit einem lauten Knall. Am Wochenende hatte es betrunkene Gäste, die ziemlich laut aus dem Ausgang zurückkehrten. Die Zimmer sind sauber, auch wenn die eigentliche Bettdecke ein paar dunkelbraune Flecken aufwies. Der Bettbezug war aber sauber. Für Londoner Verhältnisse sind die Zimmer sehr geräumig. Die Duschen verfügen über einen starken Strahl, auch das ist in London nicht selbstverständlich. Der Duschvorhang schliesst gut, sodass man nicht wie in vielen Hotels beim Duschen das Badezimmer unter Wasser setzt. Allerdings sollten die Duschvorhänge häufiger gewaschen werden, da sie ein bisschen stinken. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist gross und weist eine gute Qualität auf. Der Frühstücksraum hat allerdings den Charme einer Bahnhofshalle, ist überfüllt und sehr laut. Ich bin nicht sicher, ob ich bei einem nächsten Mal nicht doch ein bisschen mehr Geld ausgeben soll.

Schönes Hotel nah am Zentrum
Insgesamt ist das Travellodge ein schönes Hotel, von dem man sogar zu Fuß das Stadtzentrum erreichen kann. Das Zimmer war modern eingerichtet und als wir eintrafen sauber und ordentlich. Das Personal an der Rezeption war immer höflich und hilfsbereit. Mit den Zimmermädchen sah das leider anders aus. Ein Zmmermädchen war sehr unhöflich, hat nur minimal sauber und das Bett nicht ordentlich gemacht. Außerdem hat sie uns nur drei Handtücher hingelegt, obwohl wir zu zweit waren! Kurios war das ziemlich winzige Zimmer für 2 Personen. Bei meinem letzten Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel haben wir zu zweit ein größeres Zimmer und ein Kingsizebett gehabt, dieses Mal nur ein Queensizebett (obwohl ich der Meinung bin, wir hätten die größere Variante gebucht). Das Frühstück war sehr reichlich und lecker, das Personals im Frühstücksraum war gut organisiert und immer sehr höflich und freundlich. Wenn man einen Städtetripp nach London plant und mehr Zeit in der Stadt als im Hotel verbringen möchte, ist das Travellodge sehr empfehlenswert.
