"We booked our reservations in July for a two day stay in the middle of September. What they failed to tell us was that on Friday night and Saturday night the two nights we were staying at the hotel, they were having a wedding each night. The wedding venue is an outdoor tent, which was right below our rooms. We had requested third floor Oceanview rooms, which we had and we’ve stayed in this hotel before. But apparently they now have a new policy to have weddings on the weekends after Labor Day and the noise was just so loud up until 10 o’clock each night that it was quite frankly deserving of a refund. We had three rooms, this year. We had three rooms last year and I’m not sure that we would go back next year after Labor Day because the noise from the wedding was just unbearable. The rooms are really fine. They’re nicely done the outside always and Floors after a hard season could use a refurbishing."
