Cute. Beds are super comfortable. The rooms are minimal. Our room was a bit rundown. Bathroom was a little musty. Fine for a quick overnight or two..

Property was tired and the western cowboy motif was poorly executed with very cheap materials. "closet area" was a bar partially up the wall with a curtain that hung part way to the floor which was low grade plywood. Common walls were likely not filled with soundprofing material. People in the next room sounded like they were in our room. I would not stay here again nor recommend and didn't feel the room was good value for the money

Third time staying at this property, because I love the location, camping feel (with fire pit) but with a beautiful clawfoot tub! Property staff is always so nice, pleasant and accommodating.

It’s super cute and very clean, the communal area outside of the hotel’s bar is perfect for spending time outside of the room. Staff was so friendly and knowledgeable and we will definitely be coming back again soon!

Alamo Motel and Los Alamos is a wonderful place to go and relax. The room was really clean. Claw foot tub was huge, room for two! Staff is very friendly. The town is small and quiet, everything is within walking distance. The Bodega is a awesome place to hang out and enjoy the company of a loved one! Highly recommend this town and motel for a relaxing get away.

Appreciated the early check in. Neat, clean, cute. Very friendly front desk. Wonderful housekeeping. My only complaint is that the shower is not very workable for a short person who doesn’t want to get her hair wet!

We really enjoyed staying at The Alamo Hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We loved the room, the location to restaurants and shops. Such a nice experience. We will be back!

Ideal location/grumpy staff
Ideal location. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Dog friendly! Just wish the staff was as hospitable as the town! Kinda grumpy checkin and a lot of "No's".

This hotel is a surprisingly great experience! At first, I thought the cozy room would be a little tight for comfort, but I was wrong. The bed is excellent - comfortable and with nice bedding. The funky bathroom is small but accommodates all your needs. The kitchen has a stove, frig, microwave, coffee maker (we did have to ask for coffee grounds and filters but they were supplied quickly), dishes and washing liquid, paper towels. We loved the way the room was furnished and the grounds are great for having tea or a cocktail, having a picnic, or just sitting and reading a book. The bar is fun and had some good wine choices. The TV wasn't the greatest but we really didn't watch it as we were out and about each night, or reading and relaxing. There is a little market next door and Bob's Well Bread, famous for its breakfasts and coffee, just down the street. Everything is within 3 blocks! Alamo Motel was a great experience - we will stay there again.

Had a great time.
Went with my girlfriend. The bed was really comfortable. No microwave. But the girl that worked there was really nice and helpful. We went during the week and everything closes down at 10pm. The saloons were closed before that. But the people we met staying there were very friendly. We had a great time would recommend.

Very small quiet street and Alamo is sweet, quaint and a perfect spot to stay if visiting Los Alamos. No thrills but fun amenities and you are right in the heart of the city.

Despite the fact that the room seemed very bare bones when we opened the door, after using it we learned that the bed was amazingly comfortable and the pillows as well. There were tables on BOTH sides of the bed and lamps as well--something many name brand places don't seem as concerned about. The one thing lacking were electrical outlets on both sides of the bed to plug in computers and phones. There was one accesssable plug on one side of the bed and one under the TV.

Our stay was very short but in the time we were there, from the moment we parked and saw the quaint cacti and trees, the cute doors with their little burlap mats in front, put the key in (the lockbox situation worked smoothly too!) it was just lovely. My husband and I were celebrating our 20th anniversary and it was absolutely perfect in every way for us and the occasion.

Loved the easy parking and room access. Firepit was awesome as well. Fun motel. Great access to Bell Restaurant across the street. Improve: Need a small table in bathroom to place toiletry items. Coffee machine in the room would be nice. Coffee in the main office was cold and not good. Small paper cup is not good either. Had to walk down the street to get coffee. We couldn't figure out the wall heater. We left it off.

Los Alamos in general is an idyllic spot. I hope to move here someday. The motel is so great and the area is so peaceful with excellent choices for food and the grocery shop Elder was incredible.

The cutest little motel ever!!!! Room is just lovely. Very comfy bed. Beautiful and quiet with great dinning options close by. Friendly and helpful staff and the best communal fire pit where you can chat to fellow travelers and have some laughs.

Super location for a Los Alamos weekend getaway, right in the middle of town. Could walk to where we wanted to go. Our bed and pillows were the most comfortable I have ever slept on! Fire pit and blankets outdoors were super cozy. The option to be able to purchase wine for by the fire or to sip on one of the seats or even in our room was much appreciated as well. Rustic, quaint and comfortable. I would stay here again.

The Alamo Motel had so much charm, character, and coziness. It embraces the character of the town. I love taking staycations from the Bay Area and the Alamo Motel and my new favorite destination.
