Property well maintained, we were there only one night for USC campus visit. Hotel and room are clean. It was nice and quiet. Good breakfast. Outside can be tough neighborhood but we were fine.

Staff were all very nice, friendly, professional, alert; acknowledged us by greeting us and offering assistance as soon as we came through the entrance doors. Actual hotel itself was really really nice! The surrounding neighborhood was definitely sketchy. It’s down the block from Skid Row so proceed with caution in the late nights. I did talk to the hotel staff and they assured me that the hotel itself is very very safe, which it definitely was! Very clean and the complementary breakfast was delicious! I’d stay again if I wasn’t traveling with young pre teens since they got a little spooked out before I did

Everything was great except the noise level. The rooms are not sound proof. You could hear everything in the adjacent rooms and hallways. The AC had a hard time keeping up. Other than that, it was a great time. I just felt the price was too high.

The street noise from the alley below were nonstop. People yelling profanities at 3AM and loud music that finally ended around 10. The front desk staff were excellent and the ladies working the breakfast service were outstanding. Note: adding gluten free items to the breakfast is easy (Cheerios, GF bread for toast).

The rooms and the facility was clean. The staff was super helpful and professional. I appreciated the safeguards in place, like keyed entry, and keyed elevator access, as this hotel is in downtown. We did not use the pool or fitness center on this stay.

The carpet was horribly bad. This is a health hazard, should replace with solid floors. No carpet. Basic breakfast! Soap shampoo, lotion were port quality. And the towels. Most important very bad area.. just not recommended. You’ll see drug and homeless people all around hotel areas.
