Sadly, the bathrooms in this place were filthy. There were roaches, shower area was not thoroughly maintained and layers of dust/dirt in the vents. The beds were clean but there were tv screens dangling off the wall making it hard to sleep comfortably. The location is good and I'm confident this place can turn itself around eventually.

I didn't like how I got a skin rash from the moment I lay on the bed. Front Desk was super friendly and helpful, but management/supervisor was bad.

Nobody was there to check me in or get me the door code in a timely manner even though I said when I’d be arriving (6pm, not crazy). But most of all, I woke up covered in bedbugs. Do not stay here. I did not have such a negative experience at other podshare locations.

Put "Venice" into Uber, not "Los Angeles."

The hottest of hot water showers. If you like a hades-like water temperature this is the place. *Chef's kiss* The water pressure as well. A relatively diverse bunch of other travelers with which there was some great conversations...everything from restaurants recycling oil from the late 1800's to the specific technique of tattooing a more solid line on someone. There's a health food tienda/café about 7-11 minutes by foot. Bought a bag of sugar for around 5 bucks. Plenty of seating outside as well as inside. The beds are very comfortable. The setup is bunk style but with small staircases I cut between the bunks. So, unless you're quite limited with mobility it's no problem getting to the top bunk. I think I saw small lockers apart and away from the sleeping area. I didn't use them and my bag with laptop etc. was fine with some proactive steps (not leaving it wide open and inviting eyes). I think my favorite was the painting in the lobby...a strong message that fits the motif of the Pod Share imo. I may be home a hosteller.

NEVER BOOK THIS PLACE. ITS A SCAM. A DRIVER LINKED WITH THIS PLACE WILL PICK YOU FROM AIRPORT AND LEAVE YOU IN A STRANGE LOCATION WHERE THERE IS NO STREET LIGHTS AND NOBODY AROUND AND WHEN YOU TRY TO CALL THE NUMBER PROVIDED ON THIS ADRESS THEY NEVER ANSWER. YOU WILL BE FORCED TO GO BACK TO THE AIRPORT NEVER BOOK UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOOSE YOUR MONEY. THEY MAKE THEIR LIVING BY STEALING PEOPLES MONEY. I LOST 250 DOLLAR. PRICES ARE ATTRACTIVE. DONOT FALL IN THE TRAP. A FULL TIME TRAVELLER WHO HAS VISITED 35 COUNTRIES, WHO GENUINELY WANT TO HELP MY FELLOW TRAVELLERS. SORRY FOR THE UPPER CASES USED. JUST TO HELP YOU GUY'S. THERE IS FAT UGLY WOMAN NAMED KAT WHO MISINFORM HOTELS.COM AND NEVER REFUNDED FOR NOT STAYING 3 NIGHTS MARK MY WORDS ITS TOTAL SCAM

I mostly did not like the rats, the bed bugs, the lack of staff, the lack of doors on the toilets, and the general state of disrepair and lack of cleanliness. Easily the worst stay of my life. More than once there was no one there to check guests in. On one occasion, I was not sure if a woman was even a guest. She was unhinged, and very upset that no one would check her in. She started saying how she could rob everyone and no one could stop her. I was alone with her and felt unsafe. She ended up sleeping on an unmade bed in the back. The rats were the low light though. Seeing 3 rats on the the floor in the back room, eating the fruit, and screeching was unpleasant. As were the bed bugs. The place smelt horrible. Overall, I just felt unsafe and unclean.

N'y allez pas.... nous n'avions pas vu les commentaires Google avant mais c'est connu depuis un moment visiblement il y a des bed bugs partout..... nous avions des boutons partout sur le corps. Une grosse galère pour s'en debarasser.... De plus l'endroit est globalement très sale. La porte des toilettes ne ferme pas on voit à travers et on entend tout depuis les lits... Salle de bain pareil! Les lits n'ont même pas de rideau pour un minimum d'intimité. A fuir !!!

Auberge très bien située et dans un cadre très agréable. Malheureusement l accueil est très moyen et les matelas très mous. Par ailleurs ils accueillent des personnes qui n ont rien à faire dans ce genre d établissement et vous pourrissent la nuit! Alcooliques et vieux routards en fin de route

plutôt déçue

nous sommes arrivés vers 21h. Il ne fallait pas faire de bruit , nous avions réservé un lit double mais la lumière ne fonctionnait pas , on nous a donc proposé un autre lit ou la lumière ne fonctionnait pas. avec une réflexion comme quoi a cette heure ci nous n'avions pas besoin de la lumière. ( ???? ) nous avons cependant pu négocier deux lits simples. Attention, pas de rembarde dans les escaliers pour le lit du haut et marche assez raides ( chute garantie pour moi ) , la salle de bain est misérable mais nous n'avions pas vu la deuxième qui était plus correcte. cuisine sale. on ne nous a pas communiquer les codes d'accès du coup le 3e jour quand nous en avons eu besoin nous n'avons pas pu entrer dans le parking et avons du attendre que l'employée finisse sa pause et daigne venir nous ouvrir le portail au bout de 30 min malgré avoir croisé un voyageur qui est allé demander s'il pouvait nous ouvrir et est reparti sans nous décrocher un mot. bruit de fond " pluie et orage " qui tourne toute la nuit sur haut parleur. 4 casiers pour 8 lits dont un seul qui ferme a clé. cependant les lits sont plutôt confortable . attention le parking n'a que très peu de place. jardin agréable

The facility had lots of great books and furniture. The area does have some decent dining options but that’s the only positive part. Employees and their associates were rude and verbally offensive. The pods were full of insects and you can expect bug bites. The microwave in the front does not work and the grass was overgrown. At night, they left all of the doors open and turned on the lights - causing more insects to go into the pods. Laundry was ruined by employee.

Amazing clean safe very close to everything that you need to be next to transportation coffee shops restaurants of course the Venice Beach Boardwalk I would recommend this place for anybody to stay if they were passing through town

Even though I paid for 2 nights stay in advance, after first night of stay, I went out during the day and when returned in the evening for second night stay, I found someone moved my bed thinking I checked out. The front desk apologized and explained someone made the mistake. WiFi was excellent. Cable was not working in TV area. But watching dvd movie was hard because TV's sound was not working. But someone at front desk came and fixed the problem after 45 minutes.

Overall, I can’t complain too much. It wasn’t the cleanest place. According to the photos, it looked to be a better environment than it was once I arrived. Definitely needs some maintenance upkeep.

the worst experience I’ve had being on this earth. First let’s start out with the check-in.. you don’t know whether to go to the fence or go to the door on the side, your Uber will be just as confused as you are. I was greeted at the gate about 5 minutes after ringing the bells… if the man that worked the front didn’t come out to grab me I would’ve never know how to get in for check in. You go through the back area into the “podshare” a huge wood cabin that was basically terribly designed and everything is made from wood. You have a mattress a sheet and what they think is a blanket but it’s actually another sheet. TVs don’t work. All the furniture inside and outside are dirty as hell. Also all wood and both the bed and outside are infested with bugs. I spent an entire night fighting off bugs and still got bit all over I’m currently suffering from the one night stay tremendously I ended up in the emergency the next day and left the podshare right away.Another 24 hours in hell was not necessary. I was treated and given meds and have to spend the rest of my vacation with my face neck arms back and legs covered in bites. Not how I expected vacation to go. All the staff were notified of my incident and they played telephone with the information and watched me in pain until I told them&showed them what had happened. I was then told “I’m sorry we are getting heat treatment done soon we don’t know what people have coming” I was refunded but that doesn’t make up for the pain at all.
