Mediocre hotel. Area is close to everything but at the same time not. Not great options of restaurants/ breakfasts within walking distance. Not a great walk period. Staff seem very unsure of the area and what’s around. Pool does not reflect photos. Breakfast is questionable ….half a table of “buffet” breakfast for $38…. Just take it off and keep à la carte. Overall clean property. But I would not choose it as my stay again.

I was extremely pleased with our stay at The Godfrey. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the breakfast was the best we had in LA and priced competitively with surrounding restaurants and the amenities were amazing. I really appreciated being able to enjoy the rooftop without a bunch of people around. The Valet system is top notch. My only con is the room we stayed in, 426, had some weird stains and damage to the ceiling and there were some small maintenance issues they need to address (shower doesn’t fully shut off and the bathroom has some cracks in the walls/wallpaper). All in all, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Hollywood.
