The Hotel is very beautiful, I did like the stay but I only had 2 small issues. The ac was a little tricky to figure out and this was in the middle of the night and the sink was clogged. It was only a one night stay so it wasn’t a big deal but if I stay longer I would’ve liked it addressed. But over all it’s was a great stay and we finished off the morning by having brunch on the Rooftop restaurant

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Overall, I had a good stay at The Delphi Hotel. The staff were friendly, the hotel was clean overall, and the location made it easy to get around Downtown LA. It was a comfortable place to stay during my trip.
That said, there were a few things that kept it from being a 5-star experience. My room had a few maintenance issues that I wasn't expecting for the price. There were noticeable marks in the toilet, one of the mirrors was damaged, and the bathroom light flickered during my stay. None of these were deal-breakers, but they made the room feel like it needed a bit more attention.
I was also surprised that indoor slippers weren't provided inside the room. Maybe I've been spoiled by hotels in Asia, but for what this hotel costs, I honestly expected them.
Lastly, the bed frame has a raised platform around the mattress. After spending all day walking, getting in and out of bed became more of a chore than expected. If you have bad knees or mobility issues, it's something worth keeping in mind.
Despite those complaints, I still enjoyed my stay. The staff were welcoming, and I had a pleasant overall experience.
I only stayed for 2 nights mid-week but I had no issues. Room was clean, bed linens were fine (although I don't sleep on any hotel sheets/pillowcases) and all the communal areas were fine
I had a terrible experience here. We arrived a little early in town and asked if there were any available accommodations and the front desk staff did not even attempt to check. The answer was just “we do not take any early check ins”. I understand if availability was an issue but it felt it was more of a lack of effort. We then checked in later, to then be informed they sent out room # and confirmation to details to another persons email, and i had received all previous emails before so they had my correct one and im unsure how this was mixed up. The front desk worker even admitted he was worried for our safety as someone had all of our details and called in to let them know they did. After checking in, the coffee machine was broke, the phone did not work and the outlet next to the bed. I am extremely understanding if one thing went wrong, but the entire stay went wrong. Definitely was not comfortable during this stay.
The staff was courteous and attentive. The establishment was maintained. However, I encountered an issue with a hole above the ceiling in the shower, which I discovered was the source of condensation for the water to drip. This was brought to my attention after I lodged a complaint with the front desk. Additionally, I noticed that the rooms lacked a microwave. Apart from these minor inconveniences, the overall experience was satisfactory.
Not very happy, the lady who checked me in wasn’t very helpful I heard a different lady checking someone in and she was very helpful and told them how to access the pool the lady helping me did not. She was wearing a mask.
This is absolutely NOT a 4-star establishment. And they tried to rip me off from Day 1- Starting with the mandatory 150$/night ‘resort fee’ buried in their TOS. Charged me for food and fees I did NOT consent to upon checkout, had to argue to remove them.
What resort amenities are available? Basically a pool that requires the service elevator down an uncleaned hallway to access. A room with a clear glass wall looking directly into the shower- Fun for guests who stay as a family! Not.
Dirty, food-stained curtains that barely closed, a platform bed designed to be an absolute trip hazard with dirty, cigarette-smell carpeting wall to wall. Even the bed area.
Staff were wonderful! Cannot recommend highly enough, and the rooftop pool is beautiful, but this area is deeply unsafe as a solo traveller. Hard drug users+unsafe area to be in if solo.
Staying more than 1-2 nights is awful, would not recommend. Would have left on Day 1/5, but I had paid in advance.
This location is convenient to everything in downtown LA. I found the elevators were very slow, and it was difficult getting to the rooftop pool and restaurant due to ongoing maintenance issues. Getting room service every other day was also an inconvenience for my short stay.
The room had everything we needed. It was nicely decorated and close enough to store. We bought the breakfast package and I’m glad we did. It was delicious and worth the money.
