"I picked Sapaxa as I wanted to experience Sapa much closer to nature. There are only 8 cottages so it is such an itimate vibe. Mua really helped with everything that you need and really my made my stay so much better. The bed is one of the most comfortable bed you'll ever sleep on! "The hotel had panoramic views throughout, over the valley, mountains and rice fields. Good amenities, amazing staff and great food. The breakfast buffet had a huge variety and catered for the masses. Which was a downside, there were masses. A LOT of people stay at this hotel and it seemed like it was always busy with buses coming and going all day. There is a tourist spot next door that also tends to block the driveway area. The top bar was best to get a quiet drink, with most people using lounge bar. Shopping is approximately 30 minute walk up hill the whole way. I believe there may be shuttle buses, but we never saw any and would have likely been full within seconds anyhow. Overall, a very nice place to stay, great staff, amazing views. "
