It first room they put me in had a blood stains on the mattress (handprints on the side then a circular area underneath so the mattress had been flipped to hide it) when I went to ask for a different room, the front desk didn't even act surprised when I asked for a room without blood on the mattress. The 2nd room was previously someones apartment as there was a washer hook up and a drying line in the bathroom. The pillow had been through the wash too many times and were lumpy. I booked for 2 nights but took my loss and left after the first.

Dirty sheets with human hairs. Damage every direction you look. Front lobby very messy and smelly. Overall facility in a state of disrepair.

I booked a room for the wrong day, my mistake and immediately tried to change it to the next day, but they refused and charged me an extra $69.00. You got the $, but lost a customer.

The hotel was nothing like it was advertised. Very dated, poor condition, and several seedy characters lurking about. I was not comfortable there at all.

Helpfull staff. Renovations ongoing but a grest value for the budget minded travelers. Room is clean butbathroom and shower facilities are are dated and deu for replacement. Some full timers living here. I would definitly return.

Absolutely disgusting property and room. Dirty needles and caps in the parking lot. Tiles falling off the wall in the bathroom. We put our things in the room and very hesitantly decided to go to grab a bite to eat. At dinner we decided to get our stuff and ask for a refund and the guy at the front desk refused a refund “since we were in our room for an hour”. I explained we set our stuff in the room and left within two minutes, went to dinner and came straight back, acknowledging the fact I could visibly see our specific room door on his surveillance monitor behind him as we spoke, but he did not change his mind. I took the loss as a learning experience

Disappointing stay
There were many issues. There was leftover food from a previous guest in the room fridge. The beds were uncomfortable (one side leaned) and the pillows were chintzy. There was a disturbing brown stain on the wall near the toilet. The carpet didn't appear to have been vacuumed and the beds looked unprofessionally made. The TV had a crack in the screen and that portion of the screen had a darker vertical area. The USB ports by the beds did not work. We expected better from Travelodge.

Very disappointing stay
The exterior looks nice. The interior needs updating. Use cleaning supplies that leave a nice fresh smell in the room. The old wing chair is stained and should be replaced. The safe rusted and did not work. The shower stall was fixed but showed the repair outlined screw showed. The towels were old thin and in bad shape. The ripped comforters were sewn and showed were it was fixed poorly. The bed was comfortable though. The smoke alarm hanging from the ceiling not working. Shared comments with the owner.

Floor in room was not mopped, very dirty! Room reeked of smoke, when I asked if it was a non smoking room, I was given a lecture that this area is high humidity area and the room just needs to be aired out and she said it would be Fine! I did not argue with her, I am a native to this area and live about 15 minutes away from this hotel. I do not smoke and I know the difference between a smoke room and a room that needs to be aired out! Burn stain on tub, burn holes in blanket..that with the smell spike for itself. I bought a few candles and made the best of the situation….

Less than expected.
Door to my room wouldn't lock. It was unlocked when I tried it and never could get it to lock. I went to the office and she told me to pull harder, so I went back, grabbed the handle with both hands, planted my feet, and leaned back and pulled with all of my 270 pounds. It still wouldn't lock, so she gave me another room designed for longer stays. She told me it wasn't a great room. She was right, but the bed was comfortable and freshly made, and I had a decent night's sleep. By the way, the Cuban restaurant next to it has excellent food.

Not what it use to be.
2 room check in, we were placed where there was caution tape in front of both rooms which didn't really matter to much. We got non smoking but it smelled like was a smoking room and the air conditioner filters where full of dust/yellow looking. We use to love staying there because it's the half way point to NC but now it is pretty run down and not well maintained. Pool area was nasty, the yard had cigarette butts everywhere. Dog food bag that had been there a while with wholes in it like they were feeding rats. Just gross. We will not be coming back.

Avoid at all cost, you're warned!
So the front desk clerk was polite and helpful. This is where the story ended hard and fast. Room was filthy, numerous security issues like broken door lock. Also, the door that connects rooms was also broke so they just barricaded it with a dresser. Tv was broke, beds had blood on the sheets, tub was full of cigarette burns, what appeared to be drug deals happening, I can go in for days but I’ll stop. Do not stay here at all especially with a family!

There was nothing I liked about my stay. Non smoking room was SO heavy in cigarette smell I couldn't bring my clothes in for the next day. Holes in the cable outlet cover. Pillows were old and worn, not to mention uncomfortable. Towels were yellowish orange from cigarette smoke from previous stays. RUN FROM THIS PROPERTY!

Not Happy!
The listing of the room said he slept 5 people. Had a pull out couch and a king size bed. Which would have been fine. But the pull out couch was only a twin! Not sure how that is supposed to sleep 5 people. We had to ask 3 times for sheets for the pull out and when we arrived there were only 2 towels in the room to begin with. Not happy at all that i used my reward for this hotel.
