"The experience was terrible right from the start. I booked this reservation in Sep 2025 for a stay in the last weekend of May 2026. When my plans solidified in late April 2026, I tried to adjust the reservation from 3 nights to 2 nights. It was actually more expensive for me to adjust to 2 nights than it was to keep my reservation of 3 nights. When I arrived, the valet did not greet me with a smile and was not particularly helpful. Later into my stay, I asked for a box of tissues (we just ran out). Although the staff was responsive, they did not bring it with a smile. We also ran out of conditioner but did not know until 6am on our third night. The front counter asked us to wait until 7am when housekeeping staff started. We went out per our plans and returned at 9:30am to find that the conditioner still was not replenished. I asked the front counter staff to have late checkout (change from 11am to noon). The first person entered into the system, but I was locked out at 11am. I went downstairs to ask the front counter staff to set up late checkout again to allow me to retrieve my belongings. The second person put it into the system and when I got upstairs, my key card still didn't work. The third time I went down, the front counter person didn't smile, didn't apologize for the inconvenience, didn't provide an explanation, didn't send someone up with me to ensure that my card worked. They just got my card re-programmed and sent me on my way."

"Didn't know we had to request housekeeping services, so we had to callbdown and have towels brought.up. Requested a luggage cart. Waited 45 minutes and the girl told us we were on the list. Finally at the one hour mark we just took everything ourselves. Stop by the bell hop desk and they said they never got the request. Ugh."

"Charming Inn, a throwback to the distant past yet full of fresh modern era updates. Rooms are simple, but tasteful and less than fancy, but fresh and clean. There is a large shared first floor with an eclectic array of furnishings, and used for reception, guest lounge and kitchenette for coffee tea and treats. Good service at the Inn with a co-owned Cafe just across the street for breakfast, light lunches and drinks. Overall quite good value for this area and the beautiful little town of Queenston where this Inn sits is just down the road from Niagara or Niagara On The Lake."

"Motel room was very clean with up-to-date modern furniture/fixtures, comfortable bed with nice soft linens. Large clean bathroom and towels. Lots of parking spots and the staff were helpful and friendly. The Motel on-premise cafe food was very good. The Kent Motel is in a good location to the historic downtown, Shaw Festival Theatre, restaurants and wineries. Couple of Suggestions: Add a coffee maker in the rooms; we could not enjoy an early morning coffee until 8:00am as that is when the Motel's on-premise cafe opens. A larger visible sign at the front of the Motel would be helpful to direct customers where to check-in for their room. It was a little confusing where to go to check-in. Overall staying at the Kent Motel was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it. "
